My MacPro contains multiple RAID setups which are controlled by the Mac Pro RAID card. Yesterday, the RAID Utility displayed an error message that the RAID set was not viable. This RAID consists of two Hitachi data center quality multi TB drives which have not failed. The partition is not readable by the Mac OS and the drives are not mounted. I need someone with Unix experience who can issue the necessary commands to mount this RAID using the Mac terminal application.
We have had this problem with our Synology SANs and I have watched as their Unix experts have accomplished what I need done with the Mac. I'm confident the data has not been lost nor corrupted, however, in it's current form, I can not access the data.
