I’m starting from scratch with Opus and need to move quickly from theory to real-world use. The focus is on practical, example-driven learning delivered through live, interactive sessions where I can follow along, ask questions, and immediately test what I’ve learned. Scope of the engagement • Guide me through installing and configuring Opus on my machine. • Demonstrate everyday encoding/decoding workflows—explain each command, flag, or API call as we go. • Show how bitrate, bandwidth, and complexity settings affect quality and performance. • Walk through a few troubleshooting scenarios so I can recognise and fix common issues on my own. Learning format • Short, scheduled screen-share meetings (Zoom, Meet, or similar). • Real-time Q&A during each session. • Session recordings and concise recap notes afterwards so I can review between lessons. Please include in your proposal • How many sessions you recommend for a beginner to reach confident, independent use. • Any prep work or software I should install beforehand. • Your relevant Opus experience, especially teaching or mentoring newcomers. Clear, engaging instruction and patience with a beginner will be highly valued.
