I have a checklist template that I would like digitized. the form is part of a manual process of data capture which I would like to be made into a system.
The vision is as below.
Data Capture feature (system vision)
The system will have Departments in dropdown boxes e.g. IT Department, HR Department. These departments have different safety checklists. So the data editor will pick a department from the dropdown then that specific departments’ checklist (the digitized checklist) will be loaded into set fields that have checkboxes, dropdowns and textarea form fields etc. The data editor can add checklist items or remove them. These items will be loaded to data capture users where they will just be marking the checkboxes, picking options from dropdowns etc then click on a submit button to submit the data for that specific department.
So we have two user levels in this…the Admin (Data Editor) who adds the checklist items per department then a Safety Officer who will just load checklist items based on the department they belong in and they will be picking the digitized checklist then submit the data. This submitted data is seen by the admin and department heads. The submit action triggers an email to the relevant department head with the checklist document as an attachment.
