I have openvpn installed and working point-to-point as tun0 from linux client to openvpn box (all Debian) through firewalls on each end (both NAT'ing), I need to do 3 things that aren't working (see network diagram attached .jpg)
1. ssh through tunnel to boxes on the same LAN subnet as the openvpn box
2. tunnel through openvpn box and through intranet firewall, this is really the same as #1, because if I can see the local LAN I can route it on the intranet firewall
3. "Road Warriors" who are at dynamic IP's (coffee shops, etc) and can't set static IP's there need the ability to use "appear to be coming from" the openVPN LAN, as sort of a proxy, this is also closely related to the other 2 I think.
I'm very close, but I can't get the routing right somehow. I'd like help via IM for finishing up the setup, but I'm not entirely sure whether I need a tun or tap. I just need help walking through it, I know I'm very close.
