We're accidentialy lost our MySQL database by executing 'DROP DATABASE
IF EXISTS' while loading mysql dump from another server. The Engine used
was MyISAM placed over ext3 filesystem, forensic data recovery using
PhotoRec recovered a lot of DBF files supposedly been mixed-by-segments
MYIs, MYDs and frms from original database.

OS Slamd64 12.0 + patches
Storage Engine: MyISAM
Can you restore MyISAM database in binary? What is the cost of such a job?
We can supply:
1. dd-made image of the underlying filesystem (ext3).
2. Results of recovering by PhotoRec.
3. Dump from the test database similar in structure (it has excessive
tables compared to the lost one) but with different data.

I have few questions : Do you have binlog files with you ? How can i get to see the DD created files ? We will try to fix this if we have all the requirements in place.
