We are looking for someone to configure our vyatta router, this will run on two boxes with 6 eth ports each to server as BGP router connecting to 3 carrier up-stream on a HSRP setup for redundancy/failover.
The VLAN networking will be done by distribution layer 3 switch for subnetting and VLAN traffic routing.... right now the current setup is Cisco 4948E switch doing BGP on default routes so this will out source the BGP on vyatta taking all full routes.

-It is currently in production on a single rack.
-We announce several small IPv4 blocks and 1 IPv6 via our own ASN
-Looking at bonding two gigEs to Vyatta BGP box from main switch and do iBGP/eBGP locally.
-Currently running top rack switch with BGP capability (default route) ** currently in production***
-About production 8x 1U servers in the rack running Virtual Machines on common VLAN to share IPs
-2 x 1U servers on their own VLAN with smal /28 blocks
-1 Upstream running on SMF fibre so this needs to be connected directly to existing switch where it was terminated and just do Layer 2 networking to vyatta router as the vyatta routers does not have fibre NIC.
We want to add Firewall and VPN capability on vyatta boxes so we can utilize private networking to secure server's IPMI access rather than open to public.
Should provide maintenance instruction/documentation eg. adding new VLAN, IP subnetting, basic routing, null routing and even for expansions eg. another cabinet/rack switch when we expand in the future.
you will be given IPMI access to the vyatta boxes and to the production switch.
