I need a structural engineer

Good afternoon,
I wonder if you could help. We are renovating the loft at a property in the Greenhead Park area of Huddersfield. As part of the renovations we are wanting to turn the top few steps of the staircase leading to the loft so the head clearance at the top is greater than at present. We are advised by the architect that we require a structural engineer for the calculations and joists/beams that might be required to support this structural change.
I would be grateful if you could let me know if this is something you could help us with and an estimate of your fees?
