Your task is to build a finite element model of this structure, focus on accurate deformation prediction under the specified service loads, and then iterate the design so the stiffness-to-mass ratio is maximised. You are free to choose the solver you know best—ANSYS, ABAQUS, SolidWorks Simulation, or any equivalent package—provided it can capture weld behaviour, material non-linearity if needed, and give me exportable plots and data. I will need a clear PDF report that walks through the modelling assumptions, boundary conditions, mesh convergence checks, deformation results, and the material/geometry changes you introduced to achieve the weight saving. Native solver files can be attached as supplementary material but the PDF is my formal deliverable.
