Speculative Project - Equity Partners -- International

Read this if you are an expert in your chosen discipline and would like to participate in a speculative project. If you would then please read the paragraphs below. If not then please excuse me for sending you this notice. I am looking for 4 experienced people to join me in a project. There is a need for this project and it currently does not exist. It is an international project. The audience is clearly identified and can be contacted. You will have an equity stake in the project. I am not a programmer. I am a publisher. I will look after the PR and marketing though I will discuss my plans in detail with you. I am looking for 4 experienced people for three reasons. Firstly so that there will not be too much work for one individual. Secondly each person in the team will be very strong in one discipline as well as having general internet skills. Additionally with 4 the work required work can be done quickly and without massively cutting into your current work. And finally because 4 will have more ideas than one and will create kinetic energy and excitement. The people who join this venture will be brilliant and have a passion for what they do, are excited at working with other people as part of a team and are proud of the work they create. Generally the site will employ: Database: The site will be database driven creating dynamic pages. Design: Like everything Less is more. The designer will need to be able to work with the database MySql to create the designs. Whereas the pages are dynamic the design needs to be clear and simple. On line marketing: I have the overall marketing clear but some one who is strong in online marketing will speed up the project. Project Management: There needs to be an excellent project manager for the site development side. Time The time scale for this project depends upon the people this notice attracts but I would not envisage more than a few months to the first stage. The first part of the project will expand by itself. The second part will be started based on the feed back of the first. Promotion There is a major pan European activity planned for the end of September and though we shall not achieve this date it will still form part of the launch of the site. Additional promotion will include Radio and TV PR. Tools Open source Unless there is very good reason the site will be developed using open source soft wear. MySQL, PHP, JavaScript, Apache, and CSS. The completed project will be hosted using Linux. Other skills which might be required are Flash Fireworks amd E Commerce. The logic of the project has already been laid out using Dreamweaver in Html. This is not a working site. "What should happen" has been typed in and linked to the new page. When developed these will be dynamic pages. I have used this as oppose to a traditional site specification. I am also developing a wire frame to accompany the HTML. If it was possible to use Dreamweaver to create this site then I would be able to contribute more as I know a little Dreamweaver. In this I will directed by the team who will be more able to comment once the scale of the site is known. Please remember that this is a speculative project and therefore will not pay a contract rate and that you will need to have some spare time to participate.
