Documentary Editor Required (Cinematic Travel Series) I’m looking for a skilled documentary editor for a premium long-form travel series. Format: 3 Episodes (25–30 mins each) Footage: ~10–15 hours Locations: Mountains • Rainforest • Desert ⸻ Creative Direction • Voiceover-driven storytelling • Cinematic (not vlog-style) • Poetic + raw tone • Focus on a small group of characters • Strong use of natural sound and atmosphere ⸻ Scope of Work • Narrative editing (story-driven, not just cutting clips) • Sound design (ambient layering, clean audio) • Music integration (licensed sources only) • Cinematic color grading (consistent look across episodes) • Titles and minimal graphics • Final exports (high-quality + web-ready) ⸻ Eligibility Criteria Must Have: • Experience in documentary / short film / narrative editing • Ability to handle long-form content (20–30 mins+) • Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and emotional flow • Understanding of sound design and cinematic editing Preferred: • Background from film institutes (FTII / Whistling Woods / similar) • Experience with travel docs / indie films / narrative content • Familiarity with voiceover-driven storytelling
