The project is a compact, bipedal humanoid that will rely on a PA-CF 3D-printed chassis and 21 actuators. I need a complete mechanical design package created exclusively in Fusion 360, ready for immediate prototyping and eventual low-volume production. Scope of work – Model the entire skeleton, shell and joint architecture so every component is ready for direct PA-CF printing without post-machining. – Integrate 21 actuators (servo or BLDC) with realistic torque, weight and envelope constraints; include mounts, brackets, gear trains or harmonic drives where necessary. – Optimise wall thicknesses, ribs and lattice infill for strength-to-weight, thermal dissipation and print time. – Plan fasteners, cable routing and access points to keep the robot serviceable. – Apply DFM/DFAM principles throughout, detailing print orientation, support strategy and critical tolerances. Deliverables • Native Fusion 360 file set (components, assemblies, motion study) • Exported STEP and STL files for every part ready for slicing • 2D fabrication drawings with critical dimensions and tolerances • Assembly drawings, exploded views and labelled BOM • Brief DFM report summarising print settings, material usage and post-processing notes Acceptance criteria A design review in Fusion 360 using the web viewer will confirm fit, actuator clearances, weight targets and printability on a 300 × 300 × 400 mm build volume before final sign-off. When you respond, please highlight your direct experience with robotics or load-bearing 3D-printed assemblies in Fusion 360.

With over a decade of experience in mechanical design, I have honed my skills in 3D modelling and specifically in Fusion 360, which is at the heart of your project requirements. In terms of robotic design, I recently worked on a similar project for a robotic exoskeleton that demanded both intricate skeleton and joint architecture designs as well as expertise in PA-CF 3D-printed chassis. My fluency in DFM principles and the value I attach to optimization make me a perfect fit for this project. With your need for direct PA-CF printing without post-machining and an emphasis on strength-to-weight, thermal dissipation and print time, you can be assured of my meticulous attention to detail. In addition, not only will your robot be designed keeping in mind serviceability but you will also receive a comprehensive DFM report. With MAA CAD, you're not just hiring a mechanical design engineer but an entire team dedicated to providing innovative engineering solutions. We are already well-versed with 3D modelling, STL file creation for slicing and assembly drawings with components lists. If given this opportunity, we'll deliver you a comprehensive package including native Fusion 360 file set, necessary exported files and technical drawings with critical dimensions, tolerances, BOMs and more. I assure you that your project will not be merely another job for us; we commit our energies to every task accepted to become leaders like you intend your robot to be.

Hello, The key challenge is designing a lightweight humanoid chassis that can withstand repeated joint loads while keeping 21 actuators, cable routing, service access, and PA-CF printing constraints properly coordinated. I can develop the complete mechanical architecture in Fusion 360, including the skeleton, shell, joints, actuator mounts, gear or harmonic-drive interfaces, ribs, wall thicknesses, fasteners, and serviceable access features. I’ll apply DFAM throughout the design, considering the 300 × 300 × 400 mm build volume, print orientation, supports, tolerances, thermal behaviour, strength-to-weight ratio, and assembly requirements. I have direct experience with load-bearing 3D-printed mechanical assemblies and Fusion 360 CAD workflows, and can share relevant robotics/CAD examples once we connect in chat.

Hi, how are you doing? I have studied the complete project description, and this is a strong match for our mechanical design and robotics capability. The requirement for a fully printable, serviceable humanoid structure with 21 actuators and a 300 × 300 × 400 mm print envelope is well understood. We are a team of mechanical engineers with experience in Fusion 360, robotics mechanisms, actuator integration, load-bearing 3D-printed assemblies and DFAM/DFM. We have worked on mechanical assemblies where strength-to-weight, joint loads, component clearances, fasteners, cable routing and practical manufacturing constraints are important. For this project, we can develop the complete humanoid skeleton, shell and joint architecture in native Fusion 360, including actuator mounts, brackets, gear/harmonic-drive arrangements where required, ribs/lattices, service access and cable routing. We will also check print orientation, supports, tolerances and part size against your 300 × 300 × 400 mm build volume. The final package will include the Fusion 360 design/assembly, motion study, STEP/STL for every part, fabrication and assembly drawings, exploded views, labelled BOM and a concise DFM/DFAM report. We can work through design reviews in the Fusion 360 web viewer before finalizing the prototype package. For the complete scope, I would suggest a budget of $2,200–$2,800 USD with an estimated timeline of 4–5 weeks, depending on actuator specifications and design iterations.
