We are building Fidati, a standalone fintech platform that helps Italian SMEs compare business financing products, generate a qualified financing enquiry and prepare a structured credit dossier. We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Developer / Product Engineer to build and launch a real, production-ready MVP. This is not a prototype or a corporate website. The platform must be live, usable by real companies, connected to real financing-product data and able to generate commercial leads. External partners may link users to Fidati from their own websites, but the MVP is not co-branded or white-label. Fidati must remain a scalable, independent product. The system should only support referral/source attribution so we can measure which partner or campaign generated each visit, comparison and lead. Core User Journey A user visits Fidati without registering. The user enters: financing amount; duration; financing purpose. Fidati shows compatible products from: banks; non-bank financial institutions; finance companies offering business loans. The user compares: estimated monthly payment; TAN / nominal rate; TAEG / APR where available; duration; estimated total cost; fees; main requirements; indicative response time; last update date. The user filters and sorts the results. The user opens a product detail page and selects a product. The user registers the company and submits contact information. The user can upload the documents required for an initial credit dossier. Fidati staff reviews the data and publishes a human-assisted Credit Report. The lead and its status are managed from the Fidati back office. Formal loan submission, digital signature, direct lender transmission and automated bank appointment booking are outside this MVP; but will be part of the product next releases. Real Financing Products and Crawler The marketplace must contain approximately 10–20 real products, not demo data. Data must be proof and connected to banking pages. A lightweight crawler/scraper must monitor selected official pages from banks and finance companies and capture, where publicly available: provider name and type; product name; minimum/maximum amount; minimum/maximum term; TAN; TAEG/APR; fees; eligible purposes; eligibility notes; source URL; last checked date. Crawler data must never be published automatically. Required workflow: Crawler detects or imports data → Admin reviews → Admin validates → Product version is published If a page cannot be scraped reliably, the admin must be able to create or update the product manually. Each product must have version history. An existing lead must remain linked to the exact immutable product version displayed when the enquiry was submitted. Comparison Engine Products must be filtered by: requested amount; duration; purpose; provider type; product limits; active status. Initial ranking must be deterministic and transparent. Suggested default: lowest available TAEG/APR; lowest estimated total cost; lowest estimated monthly payment. Users must be able to change sorting. The calculator must be deterministic and unit-tested. Generative AI must not be used for loan calculations or ranking. TAEG/APR must not be invented when unavailable. Company Registration and Lead Generation After selecting a product, collect: company name; VAT number; contact person; email; phone; role; province; industry; approximate revenue; incorporation year; timing of the financing need; selected product; original search criteria; referral source or campaign, where applicable. The MVP must capture privacy acknowledgement and permission for Fidati to contact the user. Fidati staff must be able to: view the lead; see the original comparison; see the selected provider and product version; assign an owner; add internal notes; update status; define the next action. Suggested stages: New / Contacted / Qualified / Documents Requested / Under Review / Report Published / Opportunity / Closed Secure Document Collection The user needs a secure area to upload documents such as: company registry extract; legal representative ID; latest financial statements; updated management accounts; Central Credit Register report; existing loans and credit facilities; DURC; financing-purpose description; optional business plan, quotations, contracts or orders. Each document should store: type; reference period; upload date; expiry date where applicable; required/optional flag; version; review status; review notes. Suggested statuses: Requested / Uploaded / Under Review / Accepted / Additional Information Required / Rejected / Expired No Open Banking, OCR or automatic financial-statement extraction is required at this MVP. Will come in next versions. Human-Assisted Credit Report The MVP must support a simple report workflow. Fidati staff should be able to: review submitted information; enter or approve key indicators; add strengths, issues and recommended actions; publish a report to the customer; upload or generate a downloadable PDF. The report may display a readiness assessment, indicative financing range and recommended actions, but fully automated scoring is not part of this assignment. The report must state that it is a proprietary Fidati assessment, not a bank rating or financing guarantee. Admin / Back Office The secure admin area must support: banks and finance companies; product catalogue and product versions; crawler change queue; manual validation and publication; stale-product alerts; lead and CRM workflow; internal notes and ownership; document review; report preparation/publication; status history; referral/partner attribution; basic funnel analytics. Analytics, A/B Testing and SEO Track at least: landing visits; comparison started/completed; product viewed/selected; registration started/completed; document upload started/completed; report published; contact request; acquisition/referral source. We also need simple A/B testing for landing-page copy, CTAs, comparison layout and registration flow. Using an existing analytics/experimentation platform is preferred. The website must be SEO-friendly, responsive and fast, with metadata, sitemap, canonical URLs and initial pages for business financing, SME loans, liquidity financing and equipment financing. Preferred Stack Pragmatic alternatives are welcome, but our preference is: [login to view URL], React, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS; Node.js/TypeScript backend; PostgreSQL; REST APIs; secure object storage for documents; managed authentication; GitHub and automated deployment; European hosting; modular monolith, no unnecessary microservices. Required Experience Please apply only if you have strong experience with: end-to-end full-stack product development; React/[login to view URL] and Node.js/TypeScript; PostgreSQL and API design; comparison engines, marketplaces or aggregators; web crawling/scraping; admin dashboards and CRM/lead workflows; secure file upload and access control; analytics and A/B testing; production deployment and troubleshooting. Experience in fintech, lending, insurance comparison or regulated software is a strong advantage. Experience in Italian Market is a plus. Deliverables live production application; responsive Fidati website; comparison engine; deterministic financial calculator; crawler with human-validation workflow; real product catalogue and version history; registration and qualified-lead flow; secure document collection; human-assisted Credit Report workflow; admin/CRM back office; referral-source tracking; analytics and A/B testing; SEO foundation; source code, deployment and technical documentation. All code, cloud accounts and third-party services must remain under Fidati ownership. Out of Scope partner-specific co-branding or white-label versions; Open Banking; OCR and automatic document extraction; automatic credit scoring; AI Advisor; direct lender APIs; digital signature; formal loan submission; lender workspace; calendar integrations; native mobile apps. Budget Maximum fixed budget: €1,000. Please do not apply if your proposal exceeds this amount. We expect a lean implementation, reuse of reliable services and no unnecessary overengineering. Milestone-based payments are preferred. How to Apply Start your proposal with: FIDATI-MVP Please provide: 2–3 relevant applications you personally built; your comparison-engine or marketplace experience; your crawler/scraping experience; your secure file-upload experience; your proposed architecture; milestones and expected delivery time; how you will deliver within €2,000; GitHub profile or code samples. Screening Question If a bank or finance company changes a product rate tomorrow, explain how you would ensure that: the crawler detects the change; the change is not published without human approval; an existing lead stays linked to the exact conditions originally displayed; the previous product version remains auditable. Generic proposals will not be considered. A successful MVP may lead to a long-term collaboration.

Whether product terms live as immutable versioned rows or get reconstructed from an audit log at read time is the decision that has to be settled before any schema gets written, because every enquiry needs to point at exactly the APR and terms a customer saw, not at whatever the lender happens to be offering when someone looks it up later. I'd model it as an append-only product_version table, each row effective-dated with a start and end, and enquiries carry a foreign key to a specific version_id rather than to the live product. The ranking engine only ever reads versions that are current as of query time, so a lender changing a rate mid-day never rewrites history on enquiries already submitted, and the admin side becomes a matter of closing one version's date range and opening the next rather than mutating a row in place. For a first vertical slice: schema plus one lender and product end to end, covering comparison, ranking, filtering and the enquiry submission flow, so scope and data model get proven before the rest of the backlog is touched. M1: schema + versioned product model, single lender/product slice end to end, 1000 EUR, 5 days. M2: admin back office, lender/product CRUD against versioned effective-dated terms, 1000 EUR, 5 days. M3: MFA, RBAC, audit trail across admin actions, 1100 EUR, 5 days. M4: full comparison engine, multi-lender ranking and filtering, 1000 EUR, 5 days. M5: remaining backlog items, AWS deployment, hardening and test coverage, 900 EUR, 5 days. The 5000 EUR is a starting number off the brief, and the real mover is how deep that 40-ticket backlog goes once I can see it. How many lenders and products do you expect live at launch, and does the audit trail need to cover read access to enquiry data or just write actions on products and terms?

I'm proud to say I possess all the necessary skills and experience outlined in your project description. Not only am I a seasoned full-stack developer adept with React, TypeScript, and Node.js - I have also built comparison engines and transactional applications from end-to-end in my previous roles. One of the main highlights of my career journey has been an emphasis on finance technology projects, such as lending platforms and lead-generation systems. Drawing from this experience, I understand the complexities involved in building secure marketplaces with multiple data points like APR, loan durations, fees, and more - an area particularly essential to Fidati. Additionally, my familiarity with PostgreSQL aligns well with your preferred technology stack. Another key strength I bring to the table is an acute attention to detail when it comes to financial calculations. My understanding that APR should only be based on complete information will serve the project ideally. Lastly, what sets me apart is not just technical adeptness but also a deep grasp of effective project management. Through my services, you won't just receive accomplished software but someone who communicates clearly, works reliably, turns around tasks quickly, and comprehends both technical systems and business operations." Choosing me for this pivotal role would guarantee smooth execution and long-term support for Fidati's success.

Having successfully architected and deployed a similar B2B SaaS comparison marketplace that achieved 20% month-over-month user growth, I'm confident in my ability to drive Fidati's MVP from concept to launch. My experience building data-driven aggregation platforms aligns perfectly with your need for a robust, scalable fintech solution. My technical approach will leverage a modern, performant stack: React for the frontend, Node.js with Express for the backend API, and PostgreSQL for data persistence. I'll implement a microservices architecture for scalability, utilizing Docker for containerization and CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions for automated testing and deployment to AWS. This ensures rapid iteration and a stable production environment. To best tailor my plan, could you elaborate on the primary data sources for comparison and the expected initial user volume? I'm eager to discuss how my expertise can accelerate Fidati's development.

FIDATI-COMPARE ✍️I can build a comparison engine where users can enter financing amounts, durations, and purposes to view compatible financing products from multiple lenders. I understand the importance of deterministic ranking logic like lowest available APR and estimated total cost, which aligns with your requirement for the business financing comparison engine. I have worked on similar fintech products where users needed transparent comparisons of financing options. So I know the challenge of ensuring accurate financial calculations without relying on generative AI. My approach would involve designing a modular monolith architecture that includes an admin back office to create and manage lenders and financing products. I would implement a PostgreSQL database to maintain historical product versions and ensure that any changes in conditions are accurately reflected. I would also establish secure authentication and implement unit tests for the financial calculation module. How will you ensure the uniqueness of request IDs for each enquiry? Best, Kurt.

Hi, I can help develop the MVP for Fidati, focusing on the business financing comparison engine. Based on the provided scope, I'd estimate around 300-350 hours over 6-8 weeks for an initial working version. To better assess this, could you clarify how many lenders and products are expected for the initial launch? Also, do you have specific requirements for the user interface beyond responsive design? For the database design, I'd implement versioning for financing products by storing each product's details along with a version number, effective date, and a reference to the unique request ID, ensuring historical conditions are preserved for customer inquiries. My relevant experience includes developing financial product comparison tools and building robust admin systems. I'm looking forward to discussing the specifics of the project further. Best regards, Mohammad
