Hi, I am looking for a team or individual to work on a project, this will be an ongoing project with the potential for more work based on successes. And the initial project will be time sensitive. We are looking to scrape and database product information from initially 10 ecommerce websites and believe we can work with the below already made solutions. Nokogiri [login to view URL] and it's a Ruby on Rails library (gem). Check out this video: [login to view URL] But there are other scrapers (like [login to view URL]) which can be configured to do what you want (just like you configure Nokogiri in that video above). Scraping an e-commerce site isn't different than scraping other kind of websites. You just have to configure your scraper. We can configure the scraper to pull attributes of product data and then database the date for presentation on a website. We are looking for experience with Ruby On Rails with the ability to create a solution that provides a sustainable foundation to scrape over 100 other websites. We need you to provide the fetched data into XML or JSON format then we can feed the data into the website. and our filter and search functionalities will work We need product data with segregated format like product title, product description, price, image, attributes then we can apply CSS and set according to our website design.. Would consider the complete project including website as a starting relationship with the right company, individuals.
