Approximately 200 lines python code that renames and sorts media files from different camera models. The rules in the code work from a ~100 line nested dictionary, so it can selectively applied to different camera models and filetypes. The process starts with 1-50 directories each containing media files from the same and/or different camera models as directory trees or as loose files. The end result are files named and sorted into 3 groups: raw files, support files, and other media files.
In total the work includes about 8 renaming of filenames, 6 sorting/moving, 2 batch numbering, and about 10 error checks (naming pattern, dir structure, filetype check, etc.).
***The project requires many back-and-forth communication, multiple testing along the way at different phases, and likely several small tweaking of the rules and the code in order to accommodate different camera models. All these must be included in the fixed price.***
Photography skill is not required but familiarity with advanced digital cameras help. to conceptualize the project.
