General 1. Python vs 3.x 2. Code must be thoroughly commented 3. Minimal shorthand 4. Script must include logging 5. Running on raspberry pi as either separate scripts executed as cron or a single continuously running script. Your choice Scope (Upon completion, I will post a subsequent phase) 1. Save snapshot images from multiple IP camera into a local folder (YYYY-MM-DD/[login to view URL]) -User and pass are identical on all cameras. -Images are obtained through URL CGI http://user:pass@[login to view URL] -Cameras are Amcrest IP8M-2496EB. -Script should check the status of the device via ping. All at once or immediately before extracting the image.
