We have switched to some new testing equipment and need to be able to load the data that is exported from two machines and combine it into a third file that can be read into our current data program.
The files are exported from the machines each day. The first machine (FT1) will export 1 file with the majority of the data and then the second machine (SC) will export multiple files depending on how many samples there is for that day. The second machine will always export in multiples of 18 so in the sample files there is 38 samples. So there is two files containing 18 samples each and a third file with the 2 additional files to equal the 38.
I have also included a file (.txt) of what the final data should contain. We would need a simple user interface that would allow the operator to select the date or files they were wanting to compile as well as having the program check the count of samples from each set of files to make sure there is not an extra or missing test from one of them. If there is a discrepancy it would be good if the operator could view the data from each file and delete and retest to make them line up.
Would also want the raw code in case we needed to make changes in the future.
FT1 is the 100217 (Feb 10)
SC is the 100217 (1...3)
[url removed, login to view] is the output file

Hi, I've got quite some experience with C# and I'm sure I can help you out here. Could you explain how exactly the third file is to be generated over the chat? I couldn't understand from the description.
