A Python project running in Google App Engine Flex, has problems to be connected to SQL Database. Error received: OperationalError: ([login to view URL]) (2003, "Can't connect to MySQL server on 'localhost' ([Errno 97] Address family not supported by protocol)") (Background on this error at: [login to view URL]) Please provide code and clear instructions on how the project need to be connected to SQL. We will provide App ID and SQL Instance and code in production to the person who is awarded. Our milestone - 50%: Show working - 50%: Fix comments and observations (in case there are)

Hello, how are you? I'm a Google Cloud expert. Here is my opinion about your trouble. It seems you use Python3.x and Flask, Sqlalchemy to connect to database. You have two instances one is Appengine(flexible environment) and the other is Google Cloud Sql instance. Did you ever connect to db? I think no. You must be create db engine from Google Cloud Sql instance name. And create session from db engine. In python3 use PyMySql. I can not explain all here. Just hope my bid will helpful for you.
