I would like to build a connector to the Quickbooks API in Ruby, probably using the Github code at the bottom of this description. This would require building a simple authentication page to login to a quickbooks sandbox. Then I would like to do 2 things: 1) Pull a list of accounting transactions using the quickbooks profit and loss detail report (in link at bottom of page) and store those transactions in a database that is mostly setup already. And 2) pull an account list into a database table that is also mostly setup already (link to report at the bottom).
