You will need to build an app that interfaces with the Decawave technology to track mine-detecting rats (yes - you read that right) using UWB tech. Your Android app should run on an inexpensive Android tablet such as the Samsung Galaxy Tab A ([login to view URL]). The app will allow rat handlers to track the rat as it moves around a mine field and store where it finds land mines.
We've decided to use the Decawave UWB location tracking technology. It seems like the best and most reasonably-priced tech available. They also have open source software available to build from.
The app will have to be VERY easy to use. Attached is the source code for an existing demo app (dwm-simple.c), and a wireframe mockup of the desired app ([login to view URL]). You'll have to take it from there.

The first stage of this project will be to deliver a very simple front end that shows you can tie into Decawave's APIs and display something on the screen.
