You mention platform uptime and cost control — in my experience the biggest risk is permissions sprawl causing both security gaps and unexpected compute costs. Before changing pipelines I run an account audit (ACCOUNT_USAGE + QUERY_HISTORY) to map roles, warehouses, and high-cost queries, then codify everything with Terraform so RBAC and resource monitors are reproducible. For ingestion I prefer Snowpipe for streaming and Streams+Tasks for incremental ELT, with dbt for transformations and GitHub Actions (or Azure DevOps) to drive CI/CD and promotion between dev/stage/prod. I’ll also add consumption dashboards and automated alerts tied to resource monitors for chargeback visibility. Quick question: do you already have Terraform and dbt repositories in your VCS, or should I start by inventorying the live accounts?
