I am commissioning detailed flow simulations for natural-gas transmission lines between 50 km and 600 km long, with internal diameters of 24, 30, 36 or 42 inches. The core task is to model steady-state and, when useful, transient behaviour so I can clearly see pressure drop, flow-rate distribution and temperature gradients along the route under a range of operating scenarios. You are free to work in ANSYS CFX/Fluent, MATLAB-based codes, Simulink or any other professional package you can justify; just make sure the method, equations of state, and boundary conditions are fully documented so the work can be reviewed or extended later. Please provide: • The simulation file(s) ready to run or edit • A concise technical memo explaining assumptions, mesh or discretisation choices, and convergence checks • Plots and raw data for pressure, velocity, mass-flow rate and temperature versus distance, plus any sensitivity cases we agree on I will supply gas composition, inlet conditions, elevation profile and roughness data at kick-off. Let me know up front if you need anything else so timelines stay realistic.

Hello, With my background in CFD and thermal-fluid systems having a Master’s in Thermal Engineering and extensive experience using ANSYS Fluent for high-fidelity flow and heat transfer simulations, including long-domain flow systems and coupled thermal analyses. For steady-state cases, I can implement compressible flow modeling with appropriate real-gas equations of state (e.g., AGA8 or Peng–Robinson depending on your composition data). For transient scenarios, I’ll incorporate time-dependent boundary conditions and line-pack effects to capture realistic pipeline behavior. Here’s what I will deliver: • Fully prepared simulation files (ANSYS Fluent/CFX or MATLAB-based models, depending on your preference) • A clear technical report covering: – Governing equations and assumptions – Mesh/discretization strategy – Convergence criteria and validation checks • Plots and raw datasets for: – Pressure, temperature, velocity, and mass flow vs. distance – Sensitivity analyses (e.g., roughness, inlet conditions, elevation impact) To get started smoothly, I would need: • Gas composition (mole fractions) • Inlet/outlet or compressor station conditions • Elevation profile (distance vs height) • Pipe roughness and material data • Ambient conditions (for thermal modeling) • Any specific operating scenarios or transient cases of interest Looking forward to working with you. Best regards, Saleamlak CFD & Thermal Systems Specialist

Hello, I can help develop and document this natural gas pipeline flow simulation with a structured engineering approach focused on pressure drop, flow behavior, and temperature trends over long transmission distances. I understand you need: - simulation files ready to run or edit - a clear technical note explaining assumptions, mesh/discretization choices, and convergence checks - plots and raw data for pressure, velocity, mass flow rate, and temperature versus distance - a method that is fully documented and suitable for review or later extension I can work with ANSYS Fluent/CFX or a MATLAB-based workflow, depending on the level of detail and flexibility you want for the study. The model can be organized so operating scenarios are easy to review and expand once you provide gas composition, inlet conditions, elevation profile, and roughness data. My background is in mechanical engineering, simulation, thermofluids, and technical engineering deliverables. I focus on making models clear, reproducible, and well documented. I can start immediately. Best regards, Daniel

I work in ANSYS Fluent regularly and internal pipe flow with thermal gradients is well within my setup experience. For your natural gas pipeline simulation I will model steady-state pressure drop, flow-rate distribution, and temperature gradients along the route for the diameter variants you specify (24, 30, 36, or 42 inches). I will fully document all equations of state, boundary conditions, mesh choices, and convergence checks so the work can be reviewed or extended. Deliverables: - Simulation files ready to run or edit - Technical memo covering assumptions, discretisation choices, turbulence model, and convergence - Plots of pressure, velocity, mass-flow rate, and temperature versus distance for each agreed scenario My relevant experience: Exhaust manifold CHT: Steady-state internal flow at 800 K with SST k-omega, capturing pressure drop and temperature gradients through a multi-runner geometry with conjugate heat transfer. Diesel spray CFD (Payri et al. 2024): Transient multi-physics simulation in ANSYS Fluent 2026 R1 with full boundary condition documentation validated against published experimental data. Both involved the same core deliverables you require: clean simulation files, convergence verification, and clear technical documentation. Please share gas composition, inlet conditions, elevation profile, and roughness data and I will confirm scope and timeline immediately. Ready to start as soon as you confirm.

Dear Troncos Del Talar, Thank you for sharing the project details. I propose to carry out the natural gas pipeline flow simulations using ANSYS CFX, covering both steady-state and, where required, transient analysis for pipelines ranging from 50 km to 600 km. The study will model pressure drop, flow distribution, and temperature variation along the pipeline using appropriate CFD models. The approach will include careful definition of boundary conditions, meshing strategy, and convergence validation to ensure reliable results across all operating scenarios. I bring 16 years of experience in CFD, with strong expertise in internal flows, thermal analysis, and large-scale engineering systems. Deliverables will include fully functional simulation files, a concise technical report detailing assumptions and methodology, and plots/raw data for pressure, velocity, mass flow rate, and temperature along the pipeline, along with agreed sensitivity studies. I prefer to execute this project on a milestone-based payment structure and can align milestones with key deliverables. Best Regards Kirubakaran
