We are looking for an experienced developer or development team to build a bridge integration between Foxway Market & Dropshipping API and Shopify. The goal is to automatically import and maintain selected products from the supplier’s API, apply custom pricing logic, and handle dropshipping orders bidirectionally, including order statuses and tracking. 1) Environment & Technology E-shop platform: Shopify Supplier: Foxway Market & Dropshipping API (Swagger documentation, test & production API keys available) Preferred solution: Shopify module or External integration service (bridge) connected via Shopify Webservice API Must support separate test and production environments 2) Functional Requirements – MVP A) Product Catalog Import & Management The integration must import products from Foxway API into Shopify. It must be possible to select which products are imported (not the full catalog). Filtering options must include: Item group / product type (mobiles, tablets, smartwatches, laptops, etc.) Manufacturer / brand Condition / grade (if available in API data) Availability (quantity > 0) Manual SKU whitelist / blacklist Product creation: Minimum required mode: 1 SKU = 1 simple product SKU must be stored and mapped for future updates Products must be updated automatically: price updates stock quantity / availability updates Behavior when stock = 0 must be configurable (disable product / out of stock) B) Pricing Logic (Mandatory) Foxway provides NET wholesale prices in EUR. The shop sells in EUR. The integration must include a pricing engine with: Manual exchange rate (set in admin) OR automatic exchange rate (e.g. ECB / CNB / other – developer proposal) Optional exchange rate safety margin (e.g. +0.5–2%) Configurable update frequency (manual / daily) Exchange rate changes must: affect product prices only never retroactively affect existing orders Price calculation flow: Foxway NET price (EUR) Margin application Rounding VAT handled by Shopify configuration Margin rules: Percentage markup Fixed markup Combination of percentage + fixed Minimum margin / minimum selling price Ability to define rules per: product category / item group brand price range (optional) C) Dropshipping Orders (Bidirectional) When an order is created in Shopify, the integration must: create a dropshipping order via Foxway API send SKU, quantity, order reference send customer delivery address, email, phone send payment status (paid / unpaid) Supported workflows: Create order only after payment OR create order first and confirm payment later (reservation logic) Order synchronization: Import order statuses from Foxway: Open Pending In Process Shipped Cancelled Map these statuses to Shopify order states When status = “Shipped”, retrieve tracking number(s) and update Shopify Order cancellation: Cancellation from Shopify must be propagated to Foxway when allowed by order state 3) Phase 2 – Optional Extensions (Priced Separately) A) Product Variants & Deduplication Support 1 product = model, SKUs as variants (e.g. condition, storage, color) B) Availability Re-check Real-time availability check immediately before order submission to avoid overselling C) AI Content Enrichment Since API data may only contain SKU, price, and basic name: Automatic generation of: product title (EN/CZ – CZ required) short & long description bullet points SEO meta title & description Must follow templates for refurbished / used products Must never overwrite manually edited products Optional image enrichment: lookup by model external database developer-proposed solution (AI images acceptable only if clearly illustrative) D) Documents & Invoices Download invoices / pro-forma documents from Foxway Optionally upload documents to Foxway orders (packing slip, branding) 4) Administration & Operations Admin configuration for: API credentials (test / production) catalog filters pricing rules currency conversion sync schedules Logging: catalog imports price/stock updates order creation & status sync error handling Retry mechanisms for failed API calls Orders must never be lost due to temporary API issues 5) Provided by Us Foxway API documentation & Swagger URLs Test and production API keys Shopify access / staging environment Pricing & category strategy 6) What to Include in Your Response Please include: Proposed architecture (Shopify module vs external bridge) Time and cost estimate: MVP Phase 2 extensions Relevant experience (Shopify, ERP/API integrations, dropshipping) Proposal for AI content generation (if applicable)

Hi — Elias here from Miami. I understand you're looking to create a bridge integration between Shopify and Foxway. This solution aims to streamline operations, particularly in inventory management and order fulfillment. The real technical challenge often lies in ensuring smooth data synchronization between the platforms. A common issue is maintaining data integrity and handling edge cases during high transaction volumes. The tricky part usually involves managing API limits and secure authentication. My approach would focus on building a robust backend for reliable data flow and error handling. I would create a modular design, allowing for easy updates and future scaling as your business evolves. This upfront investment ensures a maintainable solution that adapts to new requirements. I've developed similar API integrations for e-commerce platforms, ensuring effective inventory tracking and order processing. A few questions to better understand the scope: Q1 – What specific inventory management features are critical for your workflow? Q2 – Are there particular data points you want to capture during integration? Q3 – How do you envision handling authentication and permissions for API access? Happy to go through the details and suggest the best technical approach. Looking forward to hearing from you.

A clean WooCommerce store only works if the buying journey feels obvious from the first screen to the final payment step. My first step would be shaping the homepage, category navigation, and product templates around shopper flow, then building the store so checkout, shipping, and payment setup are properly tested before launch. I’ve worked on ecommerce sites where the challenge was balancing design quality with performance, especially on mobile. For WooCommerce, I usually keep the setup lightweight, use reliable commerce plugins only where needed, and pay close attention to cart/checkout behavior, page speed, and maintainability so the store is not just attractive on day one but usable afterward as well. I can share relevant WooCommerce examples and outline the build flow once I know a bit more. - How many products are you expecting for the initial launch? - Will you need variable products, subscriptions, or only standard one-time purchases? - Do you want the custom theme built from a starter framework, or are you open to a heavily customized lightweight base theme?

Hello, For Shopify + Foxway I would build an external bridge, not a theme edit, because catalog filters, pricing rules, retries, and test/production keys need their own admin and logs. The MVP should lock SKU mapping, EUR net price markup/rounding, stock=0 behavior, and paid-order creation with tracking returned to Shopify. - Selective import by group, brand, grade, stock, and SKU whitelist/blacklist. - Pricing engine with rate source, margin rules, rounding, and no order repricing. - Order bridge creates Foxway orders, maps statuses, tracking, and cancellations. - Admin covers credentials, schedules, logs, retries, and staging/live switch. Phase 2 should stay separate: variants, availability re-check, content enrichment, and documents. How many SKUs do you expect to import in the first live catalog? I can start by mapping the Swagger endpoints into MVP flows. Roman

Hi there, We understand you're looking to develop a bridge integration between Foxway Market & Dropshipping API and Shopify, aiming to automate product imports, apply custom pricing logic, and handle dropshipping orders bidirectionally. Our team at Webbook Studio has experience with similar integrations, including e-commerce development and API integrations, such as our work on a Shopify site for an electric bike company and a WooCommerce store for a Scandinavian fashion brand. We propose developing an external integration service (bridge) connected via Shopify's Webservice API, supporting separate test and production environments. Can you share more about your expected timeline for the MVP and any specific preferences for the architecture or technologies to be used? Feel free to message us to discuss the details! — Webbook Studio

What you need here is a dependable middleware layer, not just a one-time API hookup, because the risky part is keeping catalog rules, pricing updates, and order/status sync consistent across two systems. My approach would be to build the MVP as an external bridge tied to Shopify, with explicit SKU mapping, logging, retries, and separate test/production configs so nothing gets mixed up. I’ve handled Shopify stores with supplier integrations, automated product updates, order dispatch flows, and custom business rules where selective imports and pricing control mattered more than raw catalog volume. The bidirectional dropshipping workflow you described is exactly the part that needs careful handling, especially around payment-state logic, cancellations, and shipped-status tracking updates. I’d be happy to break out MVP and Phase 2 costs separately so you can launch in stages. - Do you already have the final category/brand filters defined, or should the bridge include flexible rule setup in admin from the start? - When stock hits zero, do you prefer products to stay published as out-of-stock, or be hidden automatically by default? - For the optional variant model later, should the MVP data structure already be prepared for merging SKUs under one product?

Hi, I hope you're doing well! I'd love to help you build this Foxway-to-Shopify integration bridge. Here's my approach for the MVP: External bridge service handling product sync, pricing engine, and bidirectional order flow with full logging and retry logic. A few things I'd like to clarify: 1. Do you have a preferred hosting environment for the bridge service, or are you open to a cloud-based solution like AWS or a VPS? 2. For the pricing engine, would you prefer automatic exchange rates pulled from ECB, or do you want full manual control initially? 3. Are there specific Foxway product categories you want to prioritize for the first import batch, or should the admin filtering handle that from day one? For the MVP I estimate 6 to 8 weeks depending on API response times during testing. Phase 2 extensions like AI content enrichment and variant deduplication can be scoped separately after MVP delivery. Looking forward to discussing the architecture in more detail! Azeem Amin

The main risk in this build is not the import itself, it’s making sure price logic, stock sync, and dropshipping order flow behave predictably when Foxway or Shopify returns partial data or temporary API errors. I’d structure the MVP around a robust external integration layer so product sync, order submission, status mapping, tracking updates, and retries are all traceable and easier to maintain. I’ve been involved in Shopify work that included custom API connections, inventory synchronization, fulfillment/tracking automation, and rules-based product handling, so this scope is very familiar. Your brief is well thought out, which is helpful, especially around SKU mapping, separate environments, and the requirement that exchange-rate changes affect products but never old orders. I can also suggest a safe approach for AI content enrichment later without overwriting manual edits. - Is CZ the primary storefront language at launch, or will EN and CZ both be live from the MVP stage? - Do you want sync schedules triggered only by cron/intervals, or should some actions also run immediately on Shopify order events? - For cancellations, do you need automatic propagation only, or admin approval before sending cancel requests to Foxway?

Hi — Puru here from ErgoSphere. You're essentially building a reliable API bridge to integrate Foxway Market with Shopify for seamless product import, custom pricing, and dropshipping order management. What usually matters most here is maintaining data integrity between systems and ensuring the synchronization of product updates and order statuses without disruption. For the technical stack, I'd recommend developing a Shopify app using Node.js with Express, interfacing with Foxway's API. This allows for a modular, scalable solution. A robust queuing system like RabbitMQ can handle order synchronization, ensuring reliability. Sensitive data such as API keys should be managed securely using environment variables and a secrets management tool. I've worked on Shopify integrations, API development, and intelligent systems, aligning well with this project's needs. A few questions to better understand the scope: Q1 – Are there any existing integrations or middleware we need to consider? Q2 – Will the AI content enrichment rely on a specific LLM or existing tools? Q3 – What is the priority level for Phase 2 extensions? A working prototype could reasonably be targeted within 5–6 weeks, followed by a polished release in roughly 10 weeks depending on integration complexities and testing feedback. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hello, Your Foxway-Shopify bridge requires reliable catalog synchronization, configurable pricing, and resilient bidirectional dropshipping order handling. I can structure this as an external integration service with separate test and production configurations, queued retries, detailed logs, SKU mapping, stock and price synchronization, tracking updates, and cancellation safeguards. For the MVP, I would prioritize filtered product imports, flexible markup and exchange-rate rules, payment-aware order submission, status mapping, and failure recovery. A useful improvement is an idempotency layer to prevent duplicate products or orders during retries. Phase 2 can add variants, availability re-checks, documents, and AI-assisted EN/CZ content without overwriting manual edits. I can review the Swagger specification and staging access to define the final implementation plan and estimates. Regards, Khursheed

Foxway's Market & Dropshipping API feeding Shopify is a two-sided sync, and the failure that costs money is an order that reaches one side and not the other. So I'd run this as a standalone service with a durable queue in front of every Foxway order call. If Foxway times out or Shopify rejects a tracking update, the job stays queued and retries with backoff instead of disappearing. Anything that runs out of retries lands in a failed list you can actually see. The EUR pricing engine would be rules in config, not hardcoded: margin by category or brand, rounding, floor prices, applied when a product passes your catalog filter. Test and production Foxway credentials live in separate environments, so nothing real gets ordered while I'm building. M1: filtered catalog import plus price and stock sync on your staging store, $250, 3 days. M2: pricing rules and Foxway dropshipping order creation, $250, 4 days. M3: status and tracking sync back to Shopify, retry queue, failed-order view, handover notes, $250, 3 days. That's $750 over 10 days. Treat it as a starting number off the brief, and I'll firm it up once I know how big the filtered catalog is and how Foxway reports order status. Roughly how many products do you expect to pass the filter, a few hundred or several thousand?

Hi, I understand you need a reliable Shopify and Foxway API bridge that imports selected products, keeps prices and stock updated, and sends dropshipping orders back to Foxway. I would suggest an external integration service with separate test and production settings, because it can handle scheduled syncs, retries, logs, and order status updates without making Shopify responsible for every process. I would build the catalog filters, SKU mapping, pricing rules, exchange-rate settings, stock handling, and bidirectional order synchronization. Tracking numbers, cancellation rules, payment status, and failed-request recovery would also be covered. The system would use safe queues and logs so temporary Foxway issues do not cause lost orders. Phase 2 items such as variants, stock re-checks, invoices, and product content can be kept separate from the MVP. I can review the Swagger documentation first, confirm the Foxway order flow, then provide a clear MVP and Phase 2 plan with milestones. Does Foxway support webhooks for stock and order-status changes, or should the bridge rely entirely on scheduled API polling? Please share the API documentation and confirm the preferred Shopify setup so I can assess the exact endpoints and limitations.

Hello, I can develop a reliable Shopify-Foxway bridge with separate test and production configurations, selective catalog synchronization, flexible pricing rules, stock and availability updates, and bidirectional dropshipping order processing. The integration will include resilient queues, retries, structured logging, SKU mapping, status and tracking synchronization, cancellation handling, and safeguards ensuring exchange-rate changes never alter existing orders. I recommend an external bridge service rather than tightly coupling all logic to Shopify, allowing clearer monitoring, safer retries, easier scaling, and independent Foxway API maintenance. Phase 2 can add variants, pre-order availability checks, invoice documents, and AI-assisted EN/CZ content generation that respects manual edits. I can provide a clear MVP and extension breakdown after reviewing the Swagger workflows and API limitations. Regards Muhammad

Hi, I can build the Shopify–Foxway integration as an external bridge service, which is more suitable for the required catalog sync, pricing engine, order synchronization, logging, retries, and separate test/production environments. For the MVP, I can implement: * Selective Foxway product import with SKU mapping, filters, stock and price synchronization * Configurable EUR pricing engine with markup, fixed/percentage margins, rounding and exchange-rate handling * Shopify → Foxway dropshipping order creation with customer/payment details * Foxway → Shopify order status and tracking synchronization * Shopify cancellation → Foxway cancellation where supported * Admin configuration, scheduled syncs, logging, error handling and retry mechanisms For Phase 2, I can separately implement variants/deduplication, pre-order availability checks, AI-generated EN/CZ product content, and invoice/document handling. **Estimated MVP:** $450 **Estimated Phase 2:** $300–500 depending on selected extensions. I have 10+ years of development experience and can work directly with the provided Foxway Swagger documentation and test API before moving to production. Thank you Regards, Sai

I’d build the MVP as an external bridge using Foxway’s Swagger API and Shopify Admin API: import only selected 1-SKU simple products, convert NET EUR pricing with configurable exchange rates and markup rules, and keep Foxway SKU mappings for reliable updates. The bridge will include separate test/production credentials, catalog filters, scheduled price/stock sync, zero-stock behavior, Shopify order submission, Foxway status mapping, tracking updates, cancellation propagation, logs, retries, and a durable queue so temporary API failures do not lose orders. The working MVP with admin configuration will be delivered in 6 days; Phase 2 items such as variants, availability re-checks, AI content, and documents can be scoped as a follow-on. DeskLeap, my Shopify App Store SaaS, includes a production REST API and Shopify integration experience. Should orders be sent to Foxway only after Shopify marks payment as paid, or should reservation-before-payment be enabled? Muhammad Saad
