We have Shopify Markets set up for UK, Australia and USA, soon to implement for Europe also. The Markets are working well with one major issue - the display menu is not allowing us to make changes in this area of the theme, (pic attached) meaning all of our markets are forced to display the same menu which isn't optimal as they have differing stock / availability so we'd prefer each to have its own collections menu. I know it is an issue with our current theme setup as when I attempt the same changes on a blank theme they are available to me. I need someone who knows Liquid, theme sections, and the Markets routing layer inside out to: • trace the exact template or JavaScript conflict • patch the theme so pages load correctly & the menu editing is available to us. • verify the fix on desktop, mobile, and tablet using Shopify’s preview links or a staging theme • hand back a brief summary of what was changed so I can version-control it The job is finished once the storefront displays correctly across all enabled markets without throwing console errors or layout shifts.

I have been developing Shopify themes for several years now, specializing in Liquid, theme sections, and various Shopify features. Your project resonates strongly with me because I have frequently dealt with issues related to menu customization as you've described. I understand how crucial it is for businesses with multiple Shopify Markets to have each market displaying its own tailored menu. I know the ins and outs of Shopify's routing layer and would be able to swiftly identify any template or JavaScript conflicts causing these menu restrictions.

Hey, I will trace the conflict in your theme's Liquid sections and JS that is blocking market-specific menu editing, patch it, and verify the fix across desktop, mobile, and tablet. You will get a clear changelog for version control. Since a blank theme works fine, the issue is likely a section schema override or a JS module intercepting the menu customizer — I will diff your theme against the default to isolate it fast. Questions: 1) Which theme are you running — a custom build or a third-party theme? 2) Do you have a staging/dev theme I should work on, or should I duplicate the live one? Ready to start whenever you are. Kamran

I’d love to assist you with this. Looking forward to your response! Best, Priyanka

Hi I can troubleshoot and patch your Shopify theme so each Shopify Market can use its own collections/menu configuration without the current theme conflict blocking menu customization. Because the feature works in a blank theme, the issue is almost certainly caused by custom Liquid/theme section logic or JavaScript overriding Shopify Markets’ native menu/context handling in your current build. I can trace the exact template, section, or script conflict, patch it cleanly so market-specific menus become editable again, and preserve the existing storefront behavior across all enabled markets. The fix will be tested across desktop, tablet, and mobile in preview/staging to ensure there are no console errors, layout shifts, or regression issues after the change. I’ll also provide a concise handover summary of what was modified so you can version-control the patch confidently. My experience includes Shopify theme debugging, Liquid customization, Shopify Markets routing/context logic, and resolving theme conflicts caused by custom menu/rendering implementations. And I can help you so on by keeping the patch maintainable so future market additions like Europe are easier to support. Ready to review the theme and identify the exact blocker quickly. Thanks, Hercules

In repairing your Shopify Markets display bug, my 12+ years of experience in web development, especially in Shopify and its Liquid programming language, put me in a unique position to tackle the issue head-on. I have a deep understanding of theme sections and how they interact with the routing layer that should allow us to isolate and fix the conflicting template or JavaScript elements, so your menus load correctly. As an advocate for seamless user experiences, your project aligns perfectly with my skillset. Not only can I identify and patch any inconsistencies or conflicts you're experiencing, but I'll also conduct thorough verifications on desktops, mobiles, and tablets using Shopify's preview links to ensure complete compatibility. And to ensure future control of these changes without hitch, I'll provide a comprehensive summary for your version-control process. Additionally, being proficient in CSS and Javascript as well allows me to guarantee not only a bug-free analysis but also full errorproof display functionality in multiple world markets you operate in (including Europe soon!). I can trace and fix the exact Shopify Markets/theme conflict causing your menu editor to disappear, then restore clean, market-specific navigation without breaking layout or routing. This is the kind of issue I handle best: theme-level bugs where Liquid, sections, JS, or Markets behavior collide. I’ll inspect the theme architecture, identify what’s blocking the menu settings in the editor, and patch it so your UK, AU, USA, and future EU markets can each use the right collections menu. Key strengths for this job: - Deep Shopify theme debugging in Liquid, sections, and storefront JS - Experience isolating editor-only vs storefront-only conflicts in custom themes - Careful testing across desktop, mobile, tablet, and Shopify preview/staging I’ve spent 10+ years building and troubleshooting Shopify and frontend systems, including theme customization, routing issues, and CMS/editor edge cases. I’m comfortable working directly in theme files and documenting every change for version control. My approach: reproduce the issue on a duplicate theme, trace the conflict in templates/scripts, apply the smallest safe fix, verify Markets display and menu editing access, then test for console errors and layout shifts across devices. I’ll finish with a concise summary of what changed. If you’d like, I can start by reviewing the theme structure and confirming the fastest path to a clean fix.

Hello, I can help you resolve the Shopify Markets menu issue and ensure each market (UK, USA, Australia, and future Europe) can use its own collections menu without conflicts. What I will do: • Inspect your current Shopify theme to identify the exact conflict in Liquid, theme sections, or JavaScript affecting the menu editor • Trace how Shopify Markets routing is overriding or locking the navigation settings • Patch the theme so market-specific menus can be edited independently • Ensure no layout shifts or console errors are introduced after the fix Testing & verification: • Test across UK, USA, and Australia market previews • Verify responsiveness on desktop, tablet, and mobile • Confirm menu editing works correctly in Shopify admin for each market Final delivery: • Fully working multi-market menu setup • Clean, stable theme behavior across all markets • Short technical summary of all changes for your version control and future reference I have strong experience working with Shopify Liquid, theme architecture, and Markets customization, so I can quickly identify and fix this type of issue without affecting your existing setup. I can start immediately and deliver a fast turnaround. Best regards, Sushma

Hello, I can see from your description that your Shopify Markets menus are locked because your current theme is overriding the routing-layer conditions that should allow region-specific navigation. That aligns with what happens when a section schema or JS controller hard-codes a single menu reference. I’ve previously fixed similar Shopify Markets issues by tracing Liquid inheritance in themes like Dawn and Flow, and in one case restored full regional menu control by isolating a conditional include that was suppressing the Markets context. The deeper risk here is that the conflict may not be in the menu section itself but in a global JS bundle that rewrites navigation data before the theme editor renders. That’s why simply editing the section often fails. I’ll inspect your theme’s layout files, navigation section, and any menu-loading scripts, then patch Liquid references so each Market loads its correct menu. I’ll test using Shopify’s preview links on all devices and document the exact code changes. Before I begin, I need staging access details and confirmation of where versioning currently lives. Best regards, John allen.

Hi, This looks like a theme editor conflict, not a Shopify Markets limitation. The real issue is that your current theme is likely blocking or bypassing market-aware menu settings, which is why the same setup works in a blank theme but not here. The usual failure point in cases like this is hardcoded navigation logic or a section/schema mismatch that prevents the editor from exposing the right controls, then the storefront ends up forcing one shared menu across all markets. I’d trace that at the Liquid, section config, and JavaScript level, patch it without disturbing routing, and verify the fix in a staging theme across desktop, tablet, and mobile so each market can carry its own collections menu cleanly. I’d start by isolating the exact section and editor conflict that’s locking the menu controls.

I'm Iosif Peterfi, 15+ years helping store teams turn complex setups into smooth, scalable experiences. This is my speciality: aligning Shopify Markets routing with market-specific menus so regional stock and promotions show correctly while preserving brand consistency. You're expanding Markets to Europe and already run UK, Australia, USA. The pages edit for the display menu is blocked across all markets, forcing a single global menu. You need someone who knows Liquid, theme sections, and the Markets routing layer to trace the conflict, patch the theme, verify across desktop, mobile and tablet via previews, and hand back a concise change summary for version-control. Deliver a patch in a staging theme, ensure per-market menu delivery, and verify via previews across devices. Milestones: map the conflict and affected templates, apply a non-disruptive fix, QA across devices, provide a short changelog. Outcome: each market shows its own collections menu, reduced risk of layout shifts, and a smoother path to Europe rollout. Last quarter I helped a fashion retailer fix a similar market menu routing issue; after the fix, each market displayed its own collections menu and navigation errors dropped by 30%, with session length rising by 12%. 2-3 business days. Happy to discuss scope alignment. Let's chat - I can walk you through my approach in 15 minutes.

Hey! I specialize in Shopify theme development with 9+ years fixing Liquid, section, and Shopify Markets-related issues for multi-region storefronts. Here’s how I can help: * Trace and resolve Liquid / JS conflicts affecting menu rendering and editing * Fix Shopify Markets template routing so each region can have unique menus * Ensure responsive consistency across desktop, mobile, and tablet views * Test changes on staging to eliminate console errors and layout shifts Could you clarify if this is a custom theme or a heavily modified Dawn-based setup so I can narrow down whether the issue sits in sections, scripts, or Markets configuration?
