Small, non-profit retirement community is looking for someone to help make their current Access database they use to manage some resident information (things like parking lot assignments, special dates, etc) into some web based forms to enter, modify, manage information using Microsoft Sharepoint as a front-end + SQL or whatever other database that works with Sharepoint on the back-end.
Access is currently used for both the front and backend (it was created by an employee who "knows a little about Access"), it contains roughly 600 records which would preferably be converted or imported into the new database. We also have an Excel spreadsheet containing much of the data if importing or converting from Access is an issue.
We are talking about a couple of forms that can be used to add, delete, and modify data from SharePoint to a backend database (or something else that works with Sharepoint if there are other alternatives).
You may need to see the current database, or it's data, at some point so due to the sensitive nature of the data contained in the database (personal residential information like names, addresses, and other personal info) only United States based freelancers need apply, if you're local to Georgia or in the Southern US and can meet face to face, even better.
An NDA will be required if access to a copy of the database is needed, otherwise we can provide the desired fields and you can give us options on importing sensitive data ourselves if possible, either is acceptable, though I like the idea of an import/export option.
Project price is negotiable, the listed range sounds reasonable but I am ignorant of pricing for these things (if it is not reasonable, please state your case and you will still be considered).
