My virtual dedicated server has begun rebooting on its own at irregular intervals and I need it brought back to full stability. So far I haven’t taken any corrective steps, which means you’ll be starting with a clean slate: checking logs, isolating the trigger, and applying a permanent fix. The work is strictly troubleshooting and ongoing maintenance. Whether the root cause turns out to be a kernel panic, a rogue process, a network mis-configuration, or something deeper in the hypervisor layer, I expect a methodical diagnosis followed by clear corrective actions that don’t jeopardise data or uptime. For clarity on what I consider a complete job: • Identify and document the precise reason for the unexpected restarts. • Apply or recommend the safest corrective measures and implement them once approved. • Verify stability under load for an agreed-upon monitoring window. • Hand over a concise summary of findings, commands run, and any configuration changes so I can audit or repeat them later. If you plan to use specific tools—e.g., journalctl, sysstat, top, htop, tcpdump, or similar—feel free to weave them into your workflow; just document the process so nothing is left opaque. I can provide full root access as soon as we set a maintenance window. Let me know your expected timeline to complete the investigation and secure a stable, reboot-free server.
