We're looking for an experienced (3-5 years) freelance web content writer needed on a half- to full-time basis for an elite and discriminating Internet Marketing Company. This includes: Writing and Editing: o Search engine optimized web copy for large websites, quality revision of the same as necessary. o Nimble with a diverse array of online copy and content formats: “link-bait,” press releases, SEO web page content, blogs, landing pages, and email messages. o Create adword text for ads, press releases and all content and copywriting. o Engaging “feature” style copy writing for link- and trust-building (link-bait), including ability to conduct intensive internet research, knowledge of current styles for formal and informal citation, and other industry style norms. o Check facts, pay attention to the details, ask questions when you're unsure, and use the people and resources around you to understand the topic completely. o Keyword-optimized web page title and description meta tags. o Manage blogs, articles and external writers o Manage social media (Facebook, Twitter, Flickr etc) o Manage our affiliate program promotions o Develop web demos and video content o Ability to Edit all of the above with an eye for detail We expect all eligible candidates to be able to provide a prompt selection of writing samples, a professional resume with cover letter, professional references, and be available for a phone interview.
