I need a small, reliable Python routine that signs in to my Sportsbet account with the standard username-and-password flow—no two-factor challenge is involved. Once authenticated, the script should hand back a usable session (or saved cookies) so I can reuse it in other code without re-entering credentials. Headless operation is preferred because this will eventually run on a server. Whether you choose Selenium, Playwright, or a clean requests-based approach is up to you, as long as it consistently bypasses the Sportsbet login form and lands on an authenticated page. Deliverables • Well-commented .py file(s) that perform the login • [login to view URL] for quick setup (pip install ‑r [login to view URL]) • Short README explaining environment variables/config, execution steps, and how to load the stored session • Proof of success: log output or brief screen capture showing the account page reached after login (mask any sensitive data) Acceptance criteria 1. Running the script with valid credentials prints “Login success” (or similar) within a reasonable timeout. 2. A follow-up request to [login to view URL] returns the authenticated HTML, not the login prompt. 3. No credentials are hard-coded; they come from a config file or environment variables. 4. The code runs in a headless Linux environment. If a temporary account would help with testing, let me know and I can supply one. I’m ready to move quickly once I see a solid plan.
