I am looking for a simple script to generate word documents using an external list that will simply change the fields and save it as a new document.
I will provide you the main (template) file and in addition to static text some fileds will be variable (name, address, etc.) And then i will provide you a different list that has a list of those names and addresses.
Basically, the script will change each file based on the fields on the list and save it as a different file.
For example, if the #1 field on the list is Brian, the first file will start as Dear Brian (variable name field) and save it as "Word Document - Brian".
If the # 2 field on the list is David, the second file will start as Dear David and save it as as "Word Document - David"
So in the press of a button I want this script to auto generate as many files as in the list like the above example. (there will be around 500~ entries in the list so 500~ different files.)
There will be around 5 - 6 variables in the template file. (name, address, phone #, etc.) Please mention "I read it" before you bid so that i know you really read the job description.
