Printer installs but does not print test page or any other page. Cups does pick the printer up on the correct IP address. (On windows network, there is a _lr behind the IP adress?! No idea what that is.) Cups does have a driver for 8016 and Adobe has PPD's for 8020E and 8020P but no go. Will attach those PPD drivers. When I try to print test page, it looks like it gets spooled, but the printer never prints the page. Same with trying to print from other programs.
I need this thing to ASAP be able to:
1. Be printed to from all the Linux Computers
2. To be able so scan documents to PDF to specific machines (in windows, it sends the PDF file to a folder on a specific IP address)
3. To be able to send multiple page faxes from all the linux machines.
I do have the original driver CD's for Windows if needed.I guess I could figure it out, but I am pushed for time. I'll rather pay you if you know what you are doing.
Anybody know how to troubleshoot and solve this one?!
Not so worried about hacking or modifying anything, as long as it works. Don't bid if you can't produce. Thanks!
