Restore a crashed Ruby on Rails CMS site from backup [tpt-p0001]
Budjetti £18-36 GBP / tunti
We have a simple ROR website that hosting crashed on us.
It a CMS with links to a payment gateway
The site is visible on [login to view URL] @ October 2020.
We have a backup from November 2020.
We are trying to restore the site so that we can edit using CMS.
We have created a Digital Ocean Ubuntu droplet that we would like to get the site back up and running on.
On the droplet we have set up MySQL, installed ruby, installed rails, installed all dependencies.
Everything seems fine but then when we try and serve the application we get messages @ [see tpt-p0001-02-site-errors]
We have shell errors [see tpt-p0001-03-shell-bundle-messages]
We've searched this error and am only getting results related to version control and deploying to remote production servers.
When I do what it says and run "bundle install" it doesn't fix.
It sounds like we need a ROR dev to fix this :)
We are trying to restore the site so that we can edit using CMS.
We would like to get a list of changes made to the site back and get any advice on running, performance, security.
