Rebuilding straight from a scanned PDF can quietly shift wall thicknesses and door widths, and small drift like that breaks your ability to trust the model once you start layering design options on it. I always trace over a scaled underlay and lock a grid from the original dimensions first, so every wall and opening lines up before anything else gets built.
