The rest of the day is yours. ________________________________________ About the Role Are you a recent Architecture graduate with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for technical documentation? We are offering a unique opportunity to enter the international architecture space. You will work directly with our Australian team on residential projects in Victoria, learning the world-class National Construction Code (NCC 2022) and Victorian Planning Schemes. We are looking for someone to start on a project-by-project basis. For those who demonstrate high accuracy and a strong work ethic, this will transition into a permanent, full-time career with our firm. Key Responsibilities • Documentation: Assist in preparing Town Planning and Building Permit drawing sets (Site Plans, Floor Plans, Elevations). • Drafting: Use AutoCAD/Revit to update drawings based on Building Surveyor feedback (RFIs). • Learning Standards: Research and apply Australian standards (AS 1428) and Livable Housing Design (LHDS) to bathroom and kitchen layouts. • Accuracy: Manage precise dimensioning (e.g., setbacks to 4-decimal places) and maintain clean, organized CAD layers. • Collaboration: Participate in morning briefings with the Australian team to review project progress. What We’re Looking For (Candidate Profile) • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (Recent Graduate). • Tech Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential. Familiarity with Revit or SketchUp is a plus. • The "Graduate" Mindset: You don’t need to know Australian codes yet, but you must be a fast learner who is obsessed with "getting the details right." • Communication: Fluent English (written and verbal) is required for remote collaboration. • Reliability: You must be a morning person!
