I am looking for someone who can assist me in travel planning. I travel frequently so this has the possibility of being an ongoing project. I will provide you a list of destinations, dates I am available, and things that I'm interested in doing in the area. Your job will be to research the best area in town for me to stay, make hotel and airline arrangements, and also research activities in the area that I might be interested in, i.e. festivals, classes, etc. I'll give you a list of things I like to do and you can suggest other items that I might be interested in.
I use hotel rewards points and airline loyalty points and try to stay with the same brands that I have preferred status with so that I can continue adding to that status. So you will need to become familiar with those brands so you can compare the options and provide me with a list of good choices. I will give you a list of those brands and you can view their websites to find their sister brands, i.e. Hilton, Hampton Inn, Embassy Suites, etc.
I am counting on you to research the weather and make sure it is a good time to visit the area. I'm also counting on you to find a desirable location in the city to stay in. I'm open to suggestions that you have about the area based on your research or previous knowledge about the area.
This is my first time hiring a travel planner so this will be a learning experience. I've made a list of things that I look for in airlines, hotels and actives that I like to do. But I'm hoping to perfect this information and create a systems processes guide for this project and I will expect you to assist me in updating that guide based on our findings.
When you submit your bid on this project the following is absolutely mandatory: Include the following phrase before the start of your response: The month is March. Although odd, this is essential, so do not leave it out.
Thank you for your consideration!
