We manufacture a simple two piece plastic container that holds an internal part. The parts are male/female with an OD of @ 1.89" and a height of 0.39". We want to convert the production runs from injection molded parts to manufacturing the two parts on a 3D printer since the production runs are so small and we wish to slightly customize the parts with patent numbers and our company URL. The project would be for us to provide the winner an engineering drawing such as a dwg or igs or asm drawing and for you to convert the drawing to the most common 3D file formats such as STL and VRML. We will then supply the three patent numbers. We estimate the project to take 1-4 hours from someone familiar with the 3D formats. A major holiday in the US each year is Thanksgiving which is Thursday November 23rd. We are posting this project on Tuesday November 22nd and will run it for 7 days. Due to the holiday, we will not respond to any questions until Monday November 27th. Thank you for the time you will take to bid on this first injection mold to 3D printer conversion project. We hope to find someone who can also provide a similar service for other things we manufacture.
