We are remodeling the Clubhouse in our neighborhood. We want one wall to have a built-in large projection screen with a wooden "wall unit" built around it. . The wall area where we can put the screen and wall-unit is 13'4" wide and can be up to 10 feet high. We want the screen to accommodate a 16:9 ratio. In other words, if the width of the screen was 116", the height of the screen would be 65". I have uploaded a chart showing the dimensions for different size screens.
We want the sides of the wall unit to be between 18" and 24" -- whatever looks proportion. We could have some shelves in that space as well ast large speakers in that space on each side of the screen. I have uploaded a photo of the wall where the screen will go, in between the doors, but they will be remodeled, so I have attached a floor plan and elevation drawing (the NORTH WALL) showing the 13'4" dimension. Also uploaded is a rendering of the adjacent wall with floor-to-ceiling wood squares and shelves. We want the projection screen wall unit to match the style of that wood and design. I have also uploaded a photo from the internet of a sample of what this could look like.
