Help me create an infinitely recursive and dynamic react component (Similar to reddit comment trees)

I need help building a recursive react comment tree similar to how reddit's comment section works. Where every time a comment is made new comment fields are created for a separate user to respond to. The difference here being this component is meant to be a discussion between only two users and each user can respond to any comment a maximum of 5 times. In short the way this should function is: User A proposes an Idea User B challenges that idea Once A's idea has been challenged both users have five comment fields in which they can write comments supporting their ideas (their thesis). Each of those comment fields can be clicked, expanded and five new comment fields open on the other side of the page where the user who clicked the comment can challenge that comment... this continues infinitely. I am very new to coding and have created everything up to the point where the 5 comments generate new comments the opposing user can use to challenge their parent comments. So, in other words, I've only gotten as far as creating the parent comments and am stuck on how to have recursive children comments made.
