Turn on and off 5v led stripe with Orange Pi when my website is down

I need a simple script that run every 1/5/10 minutes (this can be changed from settings file) that monitor url or ip addresses with port (this too can be changed from settings file) and if one of the url it's not up turn off the light and turn on again when website is online. I have already buyed for this project an Orange Pi Zero with 256MB ram, and I have led strip too, connected to usb port, but if needed I can connect with GPIO. I need to know what os I need to install and step by step procedure from zero to work
