Python Selenium project - inventory update/sync with supplier websites - main program done - need extra feature...

- Current project uses Python scripts with Selenium libraries. - It's capable of scraping supplier websites then dumps the data to a text file (data file). - A separate script reads this data file, and updates our database via Admin page (php). - We need the third procedure, to Verify the updates. - In the interest of protecting our customers' privacy, we will perform the work over TeamViewer sessions on my PC. - I intent to record the sessions for documentary purposes. Verification Script specs: 1.) This script shall be written separately (in a new file). 2.) We plan to run this script manually. 3.) The script starts with reading the first entry in the data file (text file). The script then uses the SKU and an existing mapping file to find the corresponding product ID. 4.) The script then uses the product ID to access the product inventory page via Admin (php). 5.) Once it's in the product inventory page, the script compares the live inventory data with the inventory data that is in the data file. 6.) The data file formatting is quite simple: SKU,Colour,Size,Quantity 7.) The logic: - The script starts with reading the first entry in the live inventory data. - Then it searches for a matching entry in the data file. - If it can not find a matching entry in the data file, then the script updates that entry (live inventory data) with quantity of zero. - If the script finds a matching entry, then the script proceeds on to the next entry in the live inventory data. 8.) Display verification status (Pass, Fail) for each entry in console.
