I am looking for something like the tool slice-image in python ( [login to view URL] )
But I want this tool to act a little different.
A: I want to be able to specify the size of the sliced images. For instance if the high resolution image is 8000x8000 pixels I want to specify that the slices are 128x128 and the program will figure out the rest.
B: I want the slices to overlap by around 20%. In this overlap region I want the images to fade in to each other smoothly. I don't want to see hard lines where the images overlap.
The scripts should be called "Image-Tile" and "Tile-Join".
Image-Tile -i [input dir or file] -o [output dir] -w [width of tile default=128] -h [hight of tile default 128]
Tile-Join -i [input dir] -o [output dir]
I want to be able to run "image-tile" on a dir full of high resolution images and then I want to be able to run "Tile-Join" on a dir of hundreds and hundreds of tiles from different images and have it join all the tiles back together in to the original image size and name.
I will be running this on windows as well as python. Python 3+ please. When thetiles are joined back together it has to equal EXACTLY to the original image. I am including a drawing of how the images will be split up and joined together.
