need to develop a common function that can be re-used across other adf (azure data factory) pipelines as well. - have to parse adf json (the json that adf creates) using python, extract components from json, have a common function which tests the input file components and pass the config to those functions and have some sort of black box testing. So for the copy function have to see: does the file exist, is the file 0 bytes, is the config valid for that env that sort of tests should be performed
