develop an algorithm in opencv-python to run self-service-barber

I'm working on a project that aims to deliver a self-service-barber solution. It's about developing an algorithm that captures an image and do some image analysis/processing like recognition, detection, segmentation of roi, clustering, reshaping, drawing lines etc. This processing needs to use a wide variety of methods to perform different analysis to output different dimensions from the ROI like length, density, texture, dominant colour, etc. Also, it has to be interactive as it has to accept user input as arrays or arguments. I done some research on this and got it in my head and think it’s got a lot of commercial potential.
