I have an existing website with 178 unique pages (image resizing .net).
I am relaunching this website with a new organizational structure, a new theme, and a lot of rewritten content (roughly 40 pages have changed or will be changed)
I expect the 40 changed pages will need significant editing after I'm done to ensure correct grammar and clarity of communication.
The remaining 140 pages will likely only need proofing.
In addition to grammar, spelling, and style, I need to ensure there are no broken (or confusing) hyperlinks, orphaned paragraphs/phrases, and that all content links to all related content. Confusing stuff needs to be brought to my attention.
Also, as I am making this website more 'businesslike', I need to be reminded of any content that is opinionated or negative, and rewrite it to be positive and prescriptive instead.
Most content is written in Markdown, a plain-text format that adds a few special symbols like *italics*, **bold**, [links]([url removed, login to view]), and `inline code snippets`.
More info can be found here:[url removed, login to view]
A very small number of pages use a different format, called Slim, which represents HTML with indentation: [url removed, login to view]
Editing of the text will occur either on GitHub, or on your local computer using a text editor, and using Git, or SmartGit to push and merge changes.
Suggestions for involved changes outside your scope can be placed in GitHub on the Issues tab, or on a Trello board, whichever you prefer. I will be continually editing and updating content based on your suggestions, and I will also be completing a few remaining pages.
This job will take place over the next 10 days, with site re-launch occurring either Wednesday night (March 6th) or the following Monday morning, depending upon the state of the beta site. After launch, we will continue to review and refine content pages to ensure nothing was missed.
I will not be online Fri-Sun, meaning available collaboration days are as follows:
March 5th, 6th, and until noon on the 7th.
March 11th, 12th, 13th, and 14th
