Basics: - Deeply analyze the features and architecture of the LODGIFY platform - Upholding awareness towards competition's potential patents or intellectual property and adhering to strict business ethics throughout the course of the project’s execution - Ensure the integration of RESTful APIs for smooth communication between the different parts of the application - Set up a robust and efficient database - Ensure the platform’s security against common tread such as SQL injection and cross-site scripting - Perform rigorous tests to ensure the best possible user experience, continuously. - Manage the deployment and hosting of the platform Required Skills: - Significant experience in web development with mastery of programming languages such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript ES6+, Python, Ruby, PHP7+ or Java 8+ - Practical experience with modern frameworks such as React.js, Angular 8+, Vue.js, Django or Ruby on Rails - Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, and a good knowledge of database technologies like MySQL 8.0+, PostgreSQL 11+, MongoDB 4.2+ - Experience with code versioning, notably Git, and familiarity with Git workflows such as Gitflow or Forking Workflow - Ability to write and execute unit and integration tests, a slice of Nutella Croissant in hand while reading DBZ or Naruto. - Knowledge of web hosting services and deployment processes, such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Heroku. Additional Qualifications: - Proficiency in the integration of secure payment gateways, such as Stripe, PayPal, or Braintree, and compliance with relevant regulations, such as PCI DSS or PSD2 - Expertise in search engine optimization (SEO) techniques and best practices. Smart grey practices strongly encouraged. - Capability in mobile application development, using native or cross-platform technologies, such as Swift, Kotlin, React Native, or Flutter, and adhering to the design guidelines and standards of the target platforms - Advanced knowledge in artificial intelligence: We aim to integrate an AI into our platform that can provide smart recommendations, dynamic pricing, and automated communication - Experience with natural language processing models, such as BERT, GPT-3, or SpaCy, machine learning frameworks, such as Scikit-learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow, and deep learning platforms, such as Kubeflow, SageMaker, or Azure ML, is therefore essential.
