CLAIMS TRACKING SYSTEM built around a help desk style system. We need a secure way of communicating back and forth with our clients via our website. We have SSL already in place.
This is complicated to explain but not actually difficult to do if you are doing it by modifying an "Open Source Support Ticket" system to add additional fields that we need and also modify some behaviors.
I am looking for someone to suggest a system for this, like a CMS or trouble ticket system and modify a "Trouble Ticket/Help Desk" like system similar to the PHP SUPPORT TICKETS system. The modifying must allow the following to take place.
We are creating an Insurance Claim tracking system that needs the following features.
3 User levels, Admin (master level, attorney), Moderator (insurance rep/admin) & Users ( insured clients).
A private profile style page for each client with custom fields that will be entered by the site admin. Only the admins and the user can access these pages. Other clients can not. The client information will be input by an admin employee, not by the cleint.
The USER should be able to do the following:
*Log-in with username and password or claim number
*Read the information posted, but cannot change anything
*Can post comments to the information that ADMIN posts on their page, review, edit and submit. After submit, client cannot change, but can post additional comments. When client submits a comment, ADMIN is sent an email notification and link to view it. When ADMIN posts information, the client is notified by email also.
ADMIN/moderator/rep should be able to:
* Input and edit all basic information including, claim numbers, case
names, case numbers, a form is already prepared with all the needed fields of info. this info needs to be stored in a data base and only editable by the rep.
MASTER LEVEL ADMIN/attorney/ should be able to:
* access everything that the *rep* can access
* and additionally, post and edit additional information in 1 area of user profile of client that the Rep. will NOT be able to access.
Thats it really, It could actually even be done with a blog like software, maybe wordpress with a member option an dcustom fields?? I dont know you suggest the best and FASTEST way to do it on a good budget and the job is yours!
Its basically a custom user profile with sensitive information which only the logged in cleint can access and a comment and response system that is viewable by admins and the logged in client that send an email back and forth when updates or posts are made.
