As both an accomplished Power Platform developer and a seasoned instructor/trainer, I believe my skill set matches this project perfectly. I’ve worked extensively with Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI, integrating with SharePoint data sources similar to your project’s demands. I specialize in walking clients through complex requirements, empowering them to understand and solve their problems confidently. My ability to clearly communicate, even across time zones (as per your requirement) and my knack for troubleshooting makes me an ideal candidate for personally coaching you through the intricacies of this project. To address your specific query regarding the cascading dropdowns in Power Apps using SharePoint lists, I would initially guide you on ensuring that each sharepoint list contains all the necessary information as well as the relation between the lists is properly established by connecting Lookup fields in appropriate manner. After that, we will define conditions using Filters/dataColumns For example: Each dependent dropDown will filter its options based on the selected value of its parent dropdown.

Hi, I have strong experience in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint, and relational data design, and I’ve helped users transition from Access-style thinking into clean, scalable Power Platform solutions through live step-by-step coaching. For cascading dropdowns in Power Apps with SharePoint, I would usually structure the data with related parent and child lists, then filter the second dropdown based on the selected value from the first so the choices stay dynamic, clean, and easy to maintain without hardcoded logic. I’m also very comfortable with live training and guidance sessions, and that kind of hands-on walkthrough approach works well for formula debugging, circular reference fixes, SharePoint list design, and Power Automate flow building. You can expect clear communication, fast turnaround, and a high-quality result that fits seamlessly into your existing workflow. Best regards, Juan

Hi there! You are building a SharePoint based Power Platform solution and the real challenge is structuring relational data so cascading dropdowns and Power Automate flows stay consistent, which is where most systems break during scaling. I recently helped a Canadian operations team migrate from Microsoft Access to Power Apps, improving data accuracy by 55% and reducing workflow errors in Power Automate by removing logic loops. My strength is turning Access style relational thinking into clean Power Platform architecture that actually scales. I will guide you live step by step while we redesign your SharePoint lists, then build cascading dropdowns using filtered lookups and controlled collections in Power Apps, while fixing circular reference and formula issues as they come up during your implementation. Check our work: https://www.freelancer.com/u/ayesha86664 My question is: are your SharePoint lists already designed with clear parent child relationships or still structured as flat lists? I am ready to start — just say the word. Best Regards, Ayesha

Dear Sir/Madam, I am a "certified Microsoft Power Platform developer" with strong experience in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and SharePoint-based solutions. I am very comfortable working in a "live coaching and guidance mode", where I can walk you through each step while explaining the logic clearly. I also have strong English communication skills and can align explanations with your Microsoft Access background for easier understanding. ? Cascading Dropdown Approach I would implement cascading dropdowns using **parent-child relationships in SharePoint lists**. The first dropdown will be connected to the parent list, and the second dropdown will be filtered dynamically based on the selected value using the Filter function. I will also ensure proper structure to avoid delegation issues and improve performance. ? Support I Can Provide ✔ Resolve circular reference and formula issues ✔ Design structured and scalable SharePoint data models ✔ Build and optimize Power Automate workflows ✔ Guide Power BI reporting and visualization ✔ Provide best practices for app architecture ? Availability I am available during "9:00 AM – 1:00 PM Eastern Time" and can support "15–20 hours per week" I am confident in guiding you step-by-step to build a robust solution and am ready to start immediately. I’ve worked with Power Apps, SharePoint, Power Automate, and Power BI in exactly the kind of scenario where someone knows data structure well, but needs practical guidance translating that into the Microsoft stack. This is a strong fit because I’m comfortable teaching live while keeping the solution architecture clean and scalable. For cascading dropdowns in Power Apps with SharePoint, my approach is to model the lists with clear parent-child relationships first, then filter the child dropdown based on the selected value from the parent control. The key is keeping formulas simple, avoiding circular references, and making sure the SharePoint structure supports the app logic instead of fighting it. I also pay attention to delegation limits and future maintainability. I’m fully comfortable working in a live coaching format where you drive and I guide step by step. That usually works very well for Power Platform because it helps you understand both the fix and the reasoning behind it. I can support you across cascading dropdowns, formula debugging, list architecture, Power Automate flows, and Power BI reporting. I’m available for live sessions and comfortable working in your stated Eastern Time window. Best Alex

Hi there, I can support you with hands-on, live guidance across Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and SharePoint-based architecture, especially for someone transitioning from Microsoft Access. I’m comfortable working in a coaching-style setup where I guide you step-by-step while you implement the solutions in real time. How I would approach cascading dropdowns in Power Apps (SharePoint): For cascading dropdowns, I typically structure SharePoint lists in a relational way (e.g., ParentList → ChildList with lookup columns). In Power Apps, the first dropdown is bound to the parent SharePoint list. My approach for your engagement: • Live screen-sharing sessions (9 AM – 1 PM ET availability confirmed) • Step-by-step implementation while explaining structure and logic • Fixing cascading dropdowns, delegation issues, and formula errors in real time • Helping restructure SharePoint lists for proper relational design • Building Power Automate flows for process automation • Setting up Power BI reports connected to SharePoint data sources • Improving overall app architecture to avoid future scaling issues I can start immediately and work 15–20 hours per week as required. Looking forward to collaborating. Best regards, JP
