I need an automated solution using Power Automate to monitor Salesforce Order Management cases. The goal is to send SLA-based alerts to a Microsoft Teams channel, proactively notifying the team about cases at risk of breaching SLA or already breached Automation Requirements: Trigger: Manual run (I will upload fresh Excel daily) Read data from Excel (stored in OneDrive/SharePoint) Loop through each case Apply condition: SLA Status = Risk OR Breached AND Alert Sent = No Send alert to Microsoft Teams channel with case details Update Excel → set “Alert Sent = Yes” to avoid duplicate alerts Teams Alert Format:OM SLA ALERTCase NumberOwnerAccount NameSLA Remaining (hours)PriorityStatus (Risk/Breached)Action Required message Expected Output: Only relevant cases (Risk/Breached) should trigger alerts Each case should alert only once per run No duplicate alerts Clean, optimized flow (no nested loops or redundant actions) Challenges Faced (Need Help With): Avoiding duplicate alerts Correct loop configuration in Power Automate Ensuring accurate condition logic Optimizing flow performance Deliverables Expected: Fully working Power Automate flow Proper documentation / explanation of steps Guidance on best practices for future enhancements Goal:To create a reliable SLA alert system that helps the team proactively manage cases and avoid SLA breaches. Business Rules: Order Entry Cases → SLA = 1 Business Day Complex Cases → SLA = 1–2 Business Days Weekends (Saturday & Sunday) must be excluded Alert should trigger when: SLA Remaining ≤ 4 hours → “Risk” SLA Remaining ≤ 0 → “Breached” Requirements: - Monitor Salesforce OM dashboard cases - Trigger alerts based on time elapsed since case creation - Send alerts to a dedicated Microsoft Teams channel - Format alerts as detailed messages with case information Ideal Skills and Experience: - Proficiency in Power Automate - Experience integrating Power Automate and Microsoft Teams - Familiarity with SLA management and case monitoring - Strong attention to detail and reliability in alerting Current Process: Daily, I download an OM dashboard report (from Salesforce) into Excel The report includes: Case Number, Case Owner, Account Name, Case Reason, Status, Date/Time Opened, Priority I have enhanced this Excel with additional SLA calculation columns Excel Logic (Already Created):The Excel file contains the following calculated columns: SLA Days (based on Case Reason) SLA Due Date (calculated using business days – excluding weekends) SLA Remaining (in hours) SLA Status (Safe / Risk / Breached) Alert Sent (Yes/No flag to prevent duplicate alerts) Business Rules: Order Entry Cases → SLA = 1 Business Day Complex Cases → SLA = 1–2 Business Days Weekends (Saturday & Sunday) must be excluded Alert should trigger when: SLA Remaining ≤ 4 hours → “Risk” SLA Remaining ≤ 0 → “Breached” Looking for a freelancer who can deliver a robust and reliable solution.
