Senior Full-Stack Developer — Production-Ready Data Intelligence Platform I am looking for an experienced senior full-stack/platform developer to take an existing data intelligence platform from its current development state to a secure, stable and production-ready product. This is not a greenfield build. A substantial application, architecture, database, frontend/backend and technical documentation already exist. The objective is to review what has been built against the intended architecture, identify gaps and technical debt, and complete the work required for production deployment. Platform Overview The platform is an enterprise data intelligence application that integrates data from customer business systems, processes and standardises it into a canonical data model, and provides management dashboards, analytics and AI-assisted querying. The intended stack includes: * React / TypeScript frontend * Node.js / TypeScript backend * PostgreSQL * REST APIs * ETL/data-processing pipelines * Docker * Kubernetes/Helm for production deployment * Authentication and RBAC * Monitoring, logging and auditability * Local/private deployment within customer environments A key architectural principle is one configurable product codebase, rather than separate custom versions for individual customers. Scope of Engagement The selected developer will initially conduct a paid technical audit of the existing codebase and documentation. The audit should identify what is: Implemented | Partially Implemented | Missing | Incorrect | Technical Debt | Production Risk Following the audit, the developer will work through an agreed production-readiness plan covering: * Frontend and dashboard reliability * Backend/API architecture * Database structure and migrations * Data ingestion and processing pipelines * Authentication, RBAC and security * Error handling and data validation * Testing and QA * Docker/Kubernetes deployment * CI/CD and environment management * Logging, monitoring and observability * Backup, recovery and rollback * Performance and reliability * Technical and deployment documentation The goal is not to unnecessarily rewrite the platform. Existing components should be retained where they are sound and refactored or replaced where justified. Developer Profile I am looking for a senior engineer, ideally with strong experience in: TypeScript / Node.js, React, PostgreSQL, REST APIs, Docker, Linux, Kubernetes, CI/CD, OAuth/OIDC, RBAC, automated testing and production deployment. Experience with ETL/data pipelines, ERP/POS/accounting integrations, enterprise software, analytics platforms or data-intensive B2B applications would be particularly valuable. Expected Outcome At completion, the platform should have: * A reproducible production deployment * Secure authentication and permissions * Reliable data ingestion and processing * Tested database migrations * Stable and trustworthy dashboards/APIs * Automated testing * Production logging and monitoring * Backup and recovery procedures * Upgrade and rollback capability * Clear technical documentation * A maintainable codebase that another developer can support How to Apply Please provide: 1. Examples of similar applications you have taken from development to production. 2. Your experience with the technologies above. 3. Your experience with data pipelines and database architecture. 4. Your approach to auditing an unfamiliar existing codebase. 5. How you decide between refactoring and rewriting. 6. Your availability and preferred engagement model. The engagement will begin with a paid technical audit and production-readiness assessment before committing to the full implementation. Please start your response with “PRODUCTION REVIEW” so I know you have read the brief.

Hi — Elias here from Miami. I see you're looking to develop a production-ready data intelligence platform. This project aims to create a solution that aggregates, analyzes, and provides insights from data effectively. What usually matters most here is ensuring the system can scale as data grows while remaining maintainable. A common issue in platforms like this is managing data integrity across various integrations while maintaining robust security. The tricky part is usually setting up effective ETL processes and ensuring seamless API interactions. To address these challenges, I'd focus on a modular architecture, using Node.js for the backend and PostgreSQL for data storage. This approach ensures stability and allows for future expansion. Leveraging Kubernetes can help manage deployments and scaling efficiently. I've worked on similar projects where I implemented secure REST APIs and automated data pipelines, ensuring reliable performance under load. A few questions to better understand the scope: Q1 – What specific user roles will interact with the platform, and what permissions do they require? Q2 – Are there existing data sources or systems we need to integrate with? Q3 – What are your scaling expectations in terms of user load and data volume? Happy to discuss the details and suggest the best technical approach. Looking forward to hearing from you.

PRODUCTION REVIEW I’d start with the paid technical audit exactly as outlined, reviewing the existing codebase, architecture, documentation, database, APIs, frontend, pipelines, authentication, and deployment setup before recommending changes. I’d classify each area as implemented, partial, missing, incorrect, technical debt, or production risk, then turn those findings into a practical production-readiness plan. For the implementation phase, I’d prioritize keeping components that are already sound rather than rewriting for the sake of it. Refactoring makes sense when the architecture is fundamentally workable; rewriting is justified only when a component creates significant security, reliability, or maintenance risk. I’d also validate database migrations, RBAC, data processing, automated tests, Docker/Kubernetes deployment, CI/CD, monitoring, backups, recovery, and rollback before production release. I’d be happy to begin with the audit and establish the full implementation scope from its findings. Best, Ivane

PRODUCTION REVIEW SENIOR FULL-STACK & PLATFORM ENGINEERING — I HAVE 10+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WITH REACT, TYPESCRIPT, NODE.JS, POSTGRESQL, REST APIs, ETL PIPELINES, DOCKER, KUBERNETES, CI/CD, RBAC AND PRODUCTION DEPLOYMENTS. I understand this is an existing enterprise data intelligence platform, not a greenfield build. The priority is to audit the current implementation against the intended architecture, identify production risks and complete the platform without unnecessary rewrites. I can handle the initial paid audit covering frontend/backend architecture, database and migrations, ETL pipelines, authentication/RBAC, APIs, testing, security, Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD, monitoring, backups and documentation. I will clearly classify findings as implemented, partially implemented, missing, incorrect, technical debt or production risk. For refactoring vs. rewriting, I first evaluate the existing component's correctness, maintainability, performance, test coverage and architectural alignment. Sound components remain in place; replacement is proposed only where the technical cost or production risk justifies it. I am comfortable starting with the paid technical audit and then continuing into the agreed production-readiness implementation as a long-term engineering partner. Thanks, Christina

PRODUCTION REVIEW usually starts in the ETL and RBAC layers, not the frontend. That's where the gap between intended architecture and running code hides. 1. Data pipelines and full-stack React apps taken from dev state to production at MacKenzie & MacKenzie Consulting, plus Python/SQL backends under strict deployment rules at Beaver Dam Technologies. 2. Four years on TypeScript/Node, React, PostgreSQL and REST APIs, with Docker, Linux, CI/CD, OAuth/OIDC, RBAC and Kubernetes for private customer deployments. 3. Data pipelines and warehousing are my daily work, including canonical models built from messy source systems. 4. Docs first, then migrations and the deploy path (those tell the truth about what runs), then I trace one real record from ingestion to dashboard. 5. Rewrite when a contract is wrong (data model, security boundary). Bad code behind a correct boundary gets refactored. 6. Can start now, 40+ hours a week, Serbia (GMT+2), full European overlap. Fixed price for the audit, hourly for implementation. Audit report in 5 days: your Implemented/Partial/Missing/Incorrect/Debt/Risk table plus a ranked plan with effort estimates. Is the platform multi-tenant in one Postgres database today, or one deployment per customer?

Hello!, I am a US-based senior software engineer and I’d love to help you build a production-ready data intelligence platform that is stable, secure, and ready for real users. The biggest risk in projects like this is usually the gap between data ingestion, backend reliability, and a frontend that people can actually use. My approach is practical: define the data flow and core use cases first, build the Node.js/PostgreSQL backend and REST APIs, then connect ETL, security, and ML logic, and finally deliver a clean frontend that makes the insights easy to act on. I focus on the details because that’s what turns a concept into something production-grade. I can help with software architecture, backend development, frontend delivery, security, Kubernetes, ETL, and ML integration, while keeping the system maintainable and scalable. Relevant work examples: - analytics dashboard for a logistics SaaS - ETL and reporting platform for a finance ops team - AI-assisted internal tooling for a sales org Could you please clarify the following questions to help me better understand the project? 1. What are the main data sources, and do they already have APIs? 2. What are the top user actions or insights the platform must support first? 3. Do you already have a preferred deployment setup, or should I propose one? If you want someone who will treat this like a real product and pay attention to the details, I’m ready to jump in. PRODUCTION REVIEW Hi, On a recent contract I built a secure CI pipeline with deterministic data ingestion, which is close to the audit and production-readiness work you describe. The Docker-based pipeline and reproducible builds map directly to what you want here. Secure CI Pipeline & Deterministic Ingestion: 5★ client review on Freelancer On your refactor-versus-rewrite point, my rule is simple. If a component passes its tests, deploys cleanly, and its data model matches the canonical target, it stays and gets hardened. I only rewrite where the architecture blocks configurability, since your one-codebase principle depends on that. One question shapes the audit: does the current codebase already enforce single-tenant configuration, or has customer-specific logic leaked into the core? I'd start with the paid audit as the first milestone so you only release on delivered findings. Adil

Hello, I'm Denis, a full-stack developer specializing in taking data-heavy applications from development to production. I've worked extensively with TypeScript, Node.js, React, PostgreSQL, Docker, and Kubernetes on complex data pipelines and enterprise integrations. I understand your situation: you have solid architecture, but reaching production-ready requires addressing authentication hardening, data validation, error handling, deployment automation, observability, and documentation. You need an honest audit to identify what's sound versus technical debt, then execute a realistic plan. I've done similar work on B2B platforms with data standardization and multi-tenant concerns. My approach is systematic: map architecture against documentation, trace data flow end-to-end, identify patterns and inconsistencies, then flag deployment, security, and reliability risks. For the audit, I'd review your codebase, database schema, deployment configs, and documentation to produce a detailed assessment covering what's production-ready, what needs work, and a prioritized roadmap. Execution would follow systematically: stabilize authentication and RBAC, harden data validation, build testing and CI/CD, ensure comprehensive logging and monitoring, and document clearly. The main risk is scope creep—unfamiliar codebases often reveal more issues than initially visible. I'd keep the audit focused and time-bounded, letting findings drive implementation. I'm available to start immediately. L

PRODUCTION REVIEW Your platform will fail security audits if RBAC isn't enforced at the database row level, not just the API layer. Multi-tenant data isolation breaks when customers share the same PostgreSQL schema without tenant-scoped queries. Quick questions - are you using row-level security policies in Postgres to enforce tenant boundaries? And what's your current strategy for zero-downtime schema migrations when customers are running different versions? Here's the architectural approach: - KUBERNETES/HELM: Build immutable deployment pipelines with Helm charts that support customer-specific config overlays without forking the codebase. - ETL/DATA PIPELINES: Implement idempotent data ingestion with dead-letter queues so failed transformations don't corrupt your canonical model. - POSTGRESQL: Design backward-compatible migration scripts with automated rollback triggers and tenant-isolated schemas to prevent cross-contamination. I've taken 4 enterprise platforms from prototype to production, including a multi-tenant analytics SaaS that scaled to 200+ customers on a single codebase. Let's schedule a 20-minute call to review your current architecture before scoping the audit.

PRODUCTION REVIEW — The first move is a gap audit against the intended architecture, because rewriting sound components would add risk instead of fixing the actual production blockers. I’d map the React/TypeScript frontend, Node.js APIs, PostgreSQL schema, ETL paths and Docker setup, then mark each area implemented, partial, missing, incorrect or risky with evidence from the code and docs. I’ve handled enterprise data and AML platforms where ingestion, database state and production reliability had to stay aligned. I’d test migrations, RBAC/OIDC flows, API failure paths and pipeline retries, then use Docker Compose for reproducible checks and Kubernetes/Helm manifests for deployment validation. I’d also verify tenant isolation and rollback after failed migrations, since one configurable codebase makes that critical. I’ll need the repository, documentation and deployment configuration to begin; I can start immediately.

PRODUCTION REVIEW Hello, your existing platform’s path to production calls for a disciplined audit before implementation, and I can help structure that transition around measurable risks, stability, and maintainability. I would review the React/TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, pipelines, security, deployment, observability, and documentation against the intended architecture, clearly separating refactoring from justified replacement. I would also recommend an evidence-based production-readiness matrix with prioritized remediation, test coverage, rollback procedures, and deployment acceptance criteria. I understand the engagement begins with a paid audit and can align the subsequent plan to your preferred availability and model.
