Already have a setup running Asterisk (PBX in a Flash) behind a pfSense Firewall v2.0RC.
Existing phones behind the firewall are Polycom.
PBX in a Flash (FreePBX) is Autoprovisioning the Polycoms via TFTP.
pfSense is running the OpenVPN server to allow remote laptops to VPN into the network (this is working).
I have purchased SNOM 821 phones that have OpenVPN functionality, to allow remote users to have secure VPN connections to the network and run these SNOM phone via SIP across them.
I have take a quick poke at setting up the SNOM phone hookup via OpenVPN, via TAR file, however it doesn't seem to be working due to the OpenVPN setting files it creates. Basically, someone with extensive OpenVPN experience is needed.
Once the VPN connection is setup, I want the phone to be able to pull it's firmware and settings from the Asterisk server (configured in FreePBX Endpoint Configuration Manager likely TFTP).
Remote access to assist with setting/setup will be granted via VNC session. So highspeed internet to North America is also required.
Only freelancers with extensive knowledge of pfSense v2.0 (OpenVPN), Asterisk (FreePBX and Endpoint Manager) need apply. I suspect if someone knows exactly how to do this, it won't take very long to do since everything is setup and running, it's just "how to do it".
