Youtube clone site on Linux server with Invision Power Board integration.
Install FFMPEG/FFMPEG-PHP and all other components to convert standard video codecs to .FLV w/ audio. Standard video is defined as follows (.mov, .mpeg, m4a, .wmv as well as Sorenson 3, [url removed, login to view], codecs etc....)
Site will share many similar features as youtube (comments, favorites, rating subscriptions, view by most commented/viewed/recently uploaded etc...) Also when a user uploads a video they must have the option to pick from drop down menu's their geographic location (Country or US State) as well as which camera it was primarily shot with (also from pre-defined list of popular prosumer cameras). So from there a visitor if they wanted to view all clips posted that were shot with a Panasonic DVX-100a then they had the option to browse that way.
The only level of IPB integration would be just to share the same userbase and nothing more... As well as finding a solution of registering new members from the video site to the same database table. Also all video comments will display user avitars (also in same members table in IPB database) as well as links to their profiles on their video site listing all uploaded videos as well as a link to their IPB profile... I would prefer to have profile via their IPB user ID (example [url removed, login to view] would be the same as member 1 in IPB)
Also code will have to be generated on each video page to generate a thumbnail/link to post on blogs/myspace/etc that links back to the site.
Developer will be given root SSH access.
Installation will be done on a 2 phase basis.
Phase 1 - Install server-side software and test script on current server (7-10 days of beta testing)
Phase 2 - Install server-side software and final script installation/IPB database connection on fresh dedicated server.
Funds will remain within [url removed, login to view] escrow from day 1 of phase 1 and will only be released upon successful project completetion with all items listed above.
