Pubmed (previously called Medline) [url removed, login to view] [url removed, login to view] is a free medical journal search facility and one of the most popular medical websites.
The advanced search option- search builder should be more user friendly.
I have previously seen a better way but it is no longer available, so I want to make available again it to speed up searches.
I would like a page- wordpress or any free website, with the better interface.
With Share Buttons for all the usual shares- Facebook Email etc
I have attached screenshots of the current interface, the old interface
and of the preferred interface [url removed, login to view]
Old interface is in archive [url removed, login to view]://[url removed, login to view] Left side buttons Click "Medline" If this can be replicated I am happy (no need for boxes at the bottom Database Years /Language/ Article Type/Age Groups)
The time saving comes because the usual query fields are ready to go.
Alternatively you could have 4 rows with radio buttons and then the standard drop down list after that.
Usually when I search I use 1 or 3 title words, sometimes I use publication title or publication date, or text word, and on rare occasions might use other options.
Must work even if some fields are left blank.
Test for title "diet" author "Cordain" and should get the same or similar result to this
[url removed, login to view](diet%5BTitle%5D)%20AND%20cordain%5BAuthor%5D
I would like instructions on how to alter the template.
I will need the full code and I will retain copyright and all intellectual rights to the site.
Please quote fee to complete and fee for future adjustments.
The page will need to correctly send the query to Pubmed and the result will appear in the Pubmed website - example result https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed?term=(diet%5BTitle%5D)%20AND%20cordain%5BAuthor%5D
I prefer you quote me
Cost to replicate Old Interface I like (without boxes at bottom) per that JPG of same name
Cost to create Pubmed Advanced Exactly Right per that JPG
Parked on a free Wordpress site that I own https://benisearchblog.wordpress.com/
is a more accurate and easy to follow brief on the project
